Not to tier food, but way better than most buffets I've been to. Food was generally bland, but cooked well and the variety was... pretty good. And don't get me wrong, I understand the blame flavor is due to the buffet nature, start putting in too much flavorand some people will complain, but if you reduce an aggressive flavor that everyone can enjoy then the complaints are less. Food tastes great for the price, wide selection, clean tables, friendly staff and nice desserts.
So, the food wasn't great. It was fair. The price was decent per person. My main issue with this place is the staff. They did... not make us feel welcome. They all seemed miserable and disengaged from their responsibilities. Our server was constantlyhovering by our table and staring at us and our kids. We felt rushed. Both my wife and I felt that we were an inconvenience tothe server and the host. I just wouldn't recommend it unless negative social cues don't bother you. Read more
At first it seemed ok, kids seemed to enjoy their chicken and Mac and cheese. I however tried the fish. DO NOT EAT THE FISH!!! I... got horrible, horrible food poisoning which landed me in the ER for the last 2 days of my vacation. It was the worst experienceof my life!!! Take caution when eating their food, you don't want to get violently ill, I ended up with a serious health issuebecause of it. Almost 3 weeks later and I'm still recovering. We had a great breakfast here. I was a little hesitant with the mixed reviews, but they had an incredible selection. Just about... anything you could think to have for breakfast they had. The staff was extremely friendly. We had Lucy as our server, and shewas wonderful. Kids under three eat free, so that was great since we have a one year old and she doesn?t eat very much. Very few Breakfast Buffets around town. Red Oak has free parking and is wheelchair accessible. Pleasantly greeted by owners and... seated our party of 18 in back room. Servers were attentive and we were given gloves to use while serving ourselves. Food wasfresh and presented well. Staff continued refilling and kept area clean. Had may varieties of eggs, home fries bacon, sausageand turkey sausage, chipped beef etc. Kids raved about French toast and waffles. Corn muffins were fabulous! Server brought mefresh toast and kept our water glasses filled. Coffee , juices etc were extra. I just had water it is best $13.09 I spent inyears. We had a breakfast ???? buffet . The board says that ?all you can eat? . They have veg and non veg both options. I like to... suggest if they can have fruit items too. My overall experience was great. You can also order the other dish and items outsidethe buffet. Read more
Great family run American buffet many items to choose from gigantic beef ribs carving station fish Italian dishes very nice... salad bar if you can't find something to eat there you will find it anywhere! Wonderful staff wonderful family running thisplace been coming here since 1984 Read more
