We were wandering around the Wildwood Boardwalk yesterday, it was my first time there and as an AC local it's nice to get out... and see other boardwalks once in a while. We were definitely craving seafood and local seafood more than anything. We happenedto stop into Schellenger's. We had never been there before. As soon as I walked in I knew it was the perfect place. Extremelykitschy and full of mariner themed tchotchke! It smelled fantastic and was decorated nautically all throughout. Definitely afamily friendly place as there were large families with kids there. My husband and I agreed it was a perfect family seafoodrestaurant. The staff was friendly and welcoming and our server Wendy was wonderful from start to finish. The food tasted asgreat as it smelled and presented. The Fried Flounder did not disappoint and the portions are huge. Thank you, Wendy for theextra bread and butter she wrapped up to go! Would definitely go back next time we are in Wildwood! Read more

Came for dinner. They are seriously swamped with patronage and don’t have enough staff. Our server was very nice. The food was... good. About what you would expect for a seafood place. Good variety I think. And prices seemed reasonable. Pretty typical goodexperience, expect to spend a great deal of time here though due to lack of staff and over seating by management. Read more
We had a large family party of 14 celebrating Father's day weekend on a Saturday night! We tried calling to make a reservation,... but no one answered. So we walked-in and it was about a 20 minute wait for seating us. Service was excellent and the food wasfresh and tasted good! We all enjoyed our meals and even the kids liked theirs too! We've been coming to this establishment for 15 years. Never have we walked out feeling a need to write a review. The place was... consistently good for meals and okay for service. However, this time our service was outstanding. Our server's attention todetail for a party of 10 was excellent! Gloria Luz was top notch and didn't miss a thing. In today's day, that is a huge feat.Last night our experience at Schellenger's leveled up. Our drinks, meals, and service all came together in the great familyambiance that is Schellenger's Restaurant. It truly is the people that make the place. Read more
