The exterior was beautiful. I loved the neon lights! Going inside, it was a bit busy but not crowded. Staff at checkout were a... bit depressed to put it, not really fit for such a position. But the staff at the MTO were fantastic, speedy and kind. Theburger was delicious, but the fries were a bit bland and forgot my cheese sauce. There was a Coke Freestyle machine, which notmany places have so that was great! The place was clean as well. Would recommend stopping if in the Wildwood area! Read more

Stopped on the way into Wildwood to use the bathrooms and grab some snacks. The women's bathrooms could have used a little bit... more cleaning. There were bits of toilet paper all over the floor and the toilet dispenser in the one stall didn't workproperly. It was hard to get the toilet paper roll to move. On the way out of town later that night, we stopped and filled upour tank with gas. One of the best things about New Jersey is not having to pump your own gas. The attendant was very friendlyand he pulled the gas very quickly. We always make sure to stop at this Wawa at least once while we are down from Pennsylvania! Read more

This is the goto Wawa on the wildwood island. Its food is good and it is always a nice place to grab a hoagie or soup real... quick. It also has great drink selection and is rarely out of stock. The only thing i warn you about is the parking lot isalways packed and full of people and cars who are not looking before pulling out. This makes driving or walking in the parkinglot scary. My family went yesterday and grabbed some late night food around 11pm. I got chicken strips (3) & fries. They weren?t good, but... I was hungry. I am now up hours later with food poisoning on vacation. Something clearly went wrong last night, or the foodisn?t properly being stored/made correctly. Read more

Busy location with a lot of items. Would be better with more than one self-checkout.

Waited in line for 20-30 mins at the sandwich station and they didn?t even call our number?.our stuff was sitting there the... entire time and was cold by the time we realized it was sitting there. We even asked the lady if they called our number and shegave us the side eye and didn?t answer. had to look myself over the glass if that was my order. bad customer service. going toanother location next time. Let me start by saying that the power was out when we stopped in desperate need of gas. I am not sure if this is a regular... occurrence or not but it certainly worked to our advantage. After calling and explaining that we only had 5 miles of range leftin our car, the attendant told us that we could park our car there until their power come back on and we were allowed to parkand walk to the boardwalk for 4 hours! Special shout out to Justin, the attendant. He was courteous and understanding andassured us that our car would be fine until we could come back and get some gas. I also love the retro motif of this Wawalocation. As someone who loves Wawa through and through, this was a special treat! I am not sure whether this is specific toWildwood or whether or not there are more locations like this but there definitely should be! Read more

Let me set the scene: I was away for the weekend with some friends. We were having a good time doing our thing until we realized... that we ran out of Pepsi and water. We thought we brought enough for all 4 days but it was only our first day. Unlucky for us,we happened to run out at 4 AM. We began to panic, dripping enough sweat to fill a red solo cup. But then we remembered the Wawathat we passed on the drive in. I looked it up and was amazed to see it was open 24/7. We, as a group, collectively decided tomake the 30 minute trek on foot for what we needed. Just in case you are wondering, we couldn?t drive because the motel westayed at (The Surf Comber) is run by some lazy people who decided to block my car in the parking lot so I couldn?t leave.Either way, we made the long walk at 4 AM until we reached the Wawa. This place was like finding an oasis in the desert, aneedle in a haystack, or the golden ticket. Lively, bright, full of customers. We walked in to a store that was operating betterthan a 7-Eleven at noon on a Saturday. Amazed at the vast food offerings, I decided to purchase some mozzarella sticks and asoft pretzel on top of the Pepsi and water. When I went to check out I was greeted by a straight edge young man named Marty (hedeserves a raise). He took care of me and walked me through the checkout process step-by-step so I didn?t get confused. He alsowent out of his way to get me marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks and toast my pretzel. If this place was an oasis, Martyis the water. Overall, I was overjoyed by my experience and will return. I recommend checking this place out and supportingMarty. Help this young man out!!! Read more
