Small, cozy family breakfast and lunch spot. We felt like we were in a home. Omelet and scrapple very good. Small serving... sizes. Bacon was not good, tasteless. Coffee was weak, couldn't finish. Nice prices. Read more

We are originally from Wilkes-Barre, but moved away many years ago. We were in town running errands and were looking for a... restaurant for breakfast. I read about Julie's on Trip Advisor and decided to go for breakfast. We pulled up to this home on aside street near General Hospital and wasn't sure we had the right address except for the fact that we saw people sitting on thequaint deck eating. We decided to try it, and were so glad we did. Everyone was friendly and nice, including the staff and otherpatrons. The place is adorable inside and out but the food was the real draw. They serve both a traditional and eclectic menu. They had a special pierogi omelet and it was outstanding. They had many innovative specials. We enjoyed everything we orderedand took home some baked goods for later. The prices are great and the servers were attentive. We can't wait to go back again. Read more

Dining: The food was decent. Nothing spectacular. I ordered over easy eggs. One was over easy, the other was over medium,... which was a disappointment. It was my first time so I can't comment on whether this is an issue here. One major issue. My wifeordered french toast which was sadly underwhelming. The toast was tasteless and the syrup oddly enough was also rathertasteless. This is likely a persistent issue unless the cook that day didn't follow the french toast recipe. Service: Theservice was good. The people who served us were nice and there was never a concern that we would run out ofcoffee. Environment: Pulling up, the building didn't look great and the surrounding residential properties didn't help thelook as it all looked a bit worse for the wear. Once walking up the ramp towards the entrance, the environment improved. Thetables were quaint, the decorations both inside and out, organic and inorganic, gave a comforting feel to theplace. Miscellaneous: Note that this place is cash only. Also, this place was packed on a Saturday at 10 a.m. 3Stars. Overall, an enjoyable experience, but the food and surrounding environment really force my hand, preventing me fromgiving it the 4 starts that I'd like to give it. Read more

Very quaint old home converted to a restaurant. Quite a few steps to enter from the rear, where the majority of parking spaces... are available. Very nice walk up the steps but don't look to the right as you can see the neighbors messy back yard. I had thestandard eggs, potatoes, and toast with a pancake while the wife had the same. We also tried the Scrapple (never heard of itbefore or tried it before). The food was good and the Scrapple was......different. Prices were low (good) in our opinionalso. Service was excellent.
