Prices are a bit high, but so are prices everywhere. Most the staff has been there for years, and the ones that have not need to... see new faces! This place is definitely a hidden gem, it may be tucked away but the food is always hot, fresh and delicious.Fridays are not a great day to visit for pizza due to it never being less then an hour wait, but it is definitely worth thewait!! It was my first time at Dominick's, I was taken there by a friend that grew up in the Hudson neighborhood. My friend Bob has... always raved about how good the pizza is so we went. Bob and his Wife MaryAnn S., frequently go there and are consideredregulars. I have to say that Dominick's Cafe/Pizza is one of the best around! It's an old time "Pizza Parlor" and the serversare top notch, you never have to ask for anything. The pizza is sooooo delicious, baked to perfection. I can't say enough greatthings about Dominick's. Just looking to try this small place for pizza instead of ordering from somewhere like dominos. Only ordered three pizzas to... take back home and got charged like $80. First place I've ever seen in my life that charges by the slice and topping per sliceinstead of a separate charge for a whole pizza. Wasn't told until I got there to pick it up, when the pizza was already made,having to listen to the employees talk about how "she's a scumbag for charging people this much" Would never go back again.Pizza was thin and definitely could have made 40 pizzas for the same price. When eating at Dominick's Cafe, everything is usually very good. However, take out pizza, not so good. Pizza was overcooked, dry... and hard. Shame on the cook for serving this horrible pizza. And I waited 20 minutes for it because they had it underDeborah and not Barbara. Not good people. Read more
Use to be one of my favorite places to eat but sadly enough we were there two weeks ago and we had the worst meal that I ever... had anywhere. We told the waitress about the meals and she said she told the chef but that was it we didn't finish our meals andnothing was taken off our bill. Will never go back or recommend to anyone. Pizza was reheated and Clams were pre steamed andheated again. Stay away from their tripe if that's what they want to call it. Read more
We ordered burgers with cheese and were charge an additional $2. when I called to inquire I was told that the lettuce tomato and... onion and cheese were each 50 cents even though the menu listed the cheese as an additional. 50 and the lettuce,tomato onion andpeppers as .30. I was then told that was the pizza toppings I don't usually put lettuce on my pizza so they need to changetheir online menu or they're pricing Read more
Great local place with many regulars and a staff that will make you feel right at home. Delicious food that is reasonably priced... and service is smooth and efficient. I always prefer to support local business rather than a chain and I suggest you give thisone a try. You're probably going to wait a bit for a pizza on Friday night but it's well worth it. Plan ahead and take yourtime. Relax with a few beers on the deck and enjoy a beautiful summer night. Read more
