Just a weird vibe - Walked into the establishment where there was only 6 customers mainly in party’s of 2…already... served Upon approaching the register to place a order, not a single employee acknowledged the customer nor was concerned to seeif they can be helped. My husband and I thought we would try someplace new, so we stopped at the Cafe for lunch. Cute little place, very quaint but we... were very disappointed with the food. We are foodies and realize that this is a local place where local people hang out. Myhusband ordered a hamburger and fries. For the price of his burger and fries, he received a small amount of fries an a small Burger to match in which the meat was cold in the middle and could not eat it all. The avocado that was on the burger, he couldnot eat because it was not a ripe avocado, it was hard. I had the seared ahi tuna which came out of the refrigerator and was notwarm thinking that it would be freshly seared... No, it wasn't.. Undoubtedly, it was a prepackaged piece of tuna placed on mysalad. The salad however was fresh with strawberries, mango and a whole lot of cashews. Sat outside and enjoyed a wonderful dinner from their new summer menu. The rigatoni bolognese and the summer salad with salmon... were our choice and they were excellent. The hummus appetizer was very good too. Homemade deserts were a nice finish. Will beremiss if I didn’t mentioned the nice smoked old fashioned cocktail. Read more
Our first visit here and the food was delicious. We started with an appetizer of Calamari with a house sauce. The calamari was... lightly breaded to perfection. The Pasta Dominique with button pasta was loaded with shrimp and scallops in a delicate sauce. Iwould definitely order again. The waitress "Liv" made the whole dinner experience enjoyable. Everytime i come here the food is perfectly done. This is my go to and my personal opinion the best restaurant in the valley!
