I visited Wildflowers restaurant for a Thanksgiving buffet and it was exceptional. The upscale, but not stuffy atmosphere, was... just what I wanted. Soup, salad, fresh fruit, chilled shrimp to start. Then I visited the carving station with roast pork loin, leg of lamb and of course roast turkey. I sampled several traditional side dishes, as well. I was not disappointed. There was avery tempting dessert display (I did not indulge) The staff were super friendly and attentive. I will be returning to samplethe restaurant's daily menu. Read more

What a pleasant surprise. I live in hotels for my job, and once in a while I get lucky. Today was a very stressful day driving... and working at sites on Long Island. Getting to the Holiday Inn here in Wilkes-Barre was a relief, and the in-house bistro,Wildflowers was highly recommended at the front desk. I promptly ordered the filet with broccoli and garlic mashed. It wasserved perfectly medium rare, and and cuts like butter. I love the filet as evey bite is lean and clean. The sauce and spicesthe chef uses are excellent. The sides were also steamed and mashed with attention to their detail. The Susquehanna lagercomplements the meal. I was asked "What else can I get for you Sir?" Well, actually Sir would love to hear what is availablefor dessert. I stopped her at the lemon raspberry cheesecake. Yes. That's it. However, I'll take it to go please. I have anexcellent rum upstairs that will pair well with it. Yes, Wildflowers bistro is a lovely surprise for the weekend. Excellentservice, superb filet, and quiet atmosphere. You should come dine here even if you're not staying upstairs. This placeis... Maloy Approved Read more

Our household had a great experience dining in an igloo (outdoor dome) for my birthday. The pecan and s?mores martinis were... delicious and so was our food (especially the crab cakes, French onion soup and Buffalo chicken flatbread). Stephanie, ourserver, did a great job! It was a comfortable and safe dining experience and we will definitely be back again this winter! Read more

This place has a restaurant that closes pretty early that does breakfast and lunch and a bistro in the back that serves food... late. I've eaten at both and both have pretty decent food. The service was fast and friendly even though it was very busy. Thefood in the bistro is very fresh and there are great options for people who choose to go meatless. Read more
