We get sushi or hibachi once a month from Mirakuya and really love their food! Their staff, especially Kevin, are so cheerful... and prompt. I have never had a bad experience with dine-in or take-out. We had friends visiting from a large metropolitan areawho we took here and they were impressed with the quality and pricing. Our first time here and open on a holiday. It was busy but they attended us excellent. Across the board very good... !!......service , hibachi cook , presentation , drinks , portion size , birthday surprise , etc. The quick fun waitress evenpicked up my cell phone note to her " birthday girl 21 ". First time at Mirakuya and I enjoyed my experience. Staff was a bit haphazard and pushy when time for the bill but the sushi... taste fresh and I enjoyed sitting at the bar watching it being made. I like the food but was really disappointed when I asked my chicken to be cooked more well done. I?m funny when it comes to... chicken & I know this but I didn?t think it was a crazy request as other hibachi cooks do it for me. When I asked the hibachicook to do this, he laughed at me and cooked the chicken the same as everyone else?s. Was it done, yes. Did I eat it? No. Idon?t like big chunks of chicken that are cooked just enough. Apparently I just have to want it the way theydecide. Best place for this food I've ever eaten at! Was there 2 times in less than 2 weeks with my friend Melanie the first, and my guy... yesterday. Nice portions, decent prices food was absolutely delicious! Grabbed soft shell crab to go for my mom she loved itsaid definitely get it for her again, and we are very particular about our food. It's the 2nd time we've had a what appears to have been a new chef, although one had a good sense of humor which added to his... tip. Food has been good and flavorful. I recommend checking out more than just the sushi and hibachi. Good appetizers and noodlesoups. Read more

This was our 2nd sushi restaurant in the Wilkes Barre area and probably our least favorite Sushi Restaurant, ever. Well, we... suspect they prepare the more common rolls well ahead of time as all of this type sushi was about room temperature. The extrarolls were all pretty good ie, Dragon roll and the yellow tail Sashimi. So far nothing beats the place we go in Manassas VAwhere all the rolls are prepared fresh after you place the order like any decent Sushi restaurant . A bit of wait is alwayspreferential to substandard food. Gas station Sushi comes to mind as the best description for the majority of the food we wereserved this evening. The waitress was very nice and she was tipped well. To top it off the owner or manager gave us a whole 3dollars off the +120 dollar bill for a Military discount. Super fresh, well prepared sushi! The sashimi is great quality and a beautiful cut. Angry dragon roll in the first picture - a... kick of flavor, good texture and fresh fish. Salmon sashimi in the middle (I could eat a million). The last pic is spicy oceanand and Wilkes Barre roll - Wilkes Barre is fried lightly and feels indulgent.
