Great hot pizza, friendly and helpful staff. Straw hat always takes me back to mt childhood.
So another person 2 weeks ago said the place smelled bad. But on one else reported that so we thought it was a one off. We were... wrong, it?s 2 weeks since that review from other person and the smell is disgusting. We prepaid and ordered our food so we wentfor a pickup had we not done that we would have left. Avoid this place! My boyfriend and I decided to stop in on a whim. First red flag we shouldn't have ignored was the smell of... the place. It smelled awful inside. We stupidly decided to give the place the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake. After orderingour food and getting our drinks we sat down at a booth. We were sat down for no more than 2 minutes and the biggest cockroachI've ever seen came out from the booth right across from us!! I should have taken a picture for proof but in that moment we justwanted to leave. Thank God we didn't eat or drink anything. Never in my life have I seen anything like that before. I Phoned in order at 11:30 and they said 15 mins. I arrived 10 mins later and waited it was 22 mins later and they were just... preparing the food for the oven. I seen when I paid and didn't tip they talked and then that's when they didn't want to do therejob I felt its because I didn't tip. That's not exceptable. It was not so busy that they didn't have enough time to prepare orcook the food. I am a local and was disappointed in their service. If you don't tip they don't want to do their job thats whatit look like to me. I hope they get some people to do their job in a timely professional manner. Read more
I decided to give this place a chance, even though some of the reviews were less than positive. I ordered an aloha chicken pizza... for pick-up, it was very good. It took 30 minutes. The staff were friendly. I will be coming back. Read more
I read a lot of reviews about this place and decided to check it out for my self since I live in the area.The reviews are... correct. The pizza is terrible. Too much cheese and the toppings were old. The tables were sticky. The girl working wasclueless. I ordered a draft beer and it was flat. I asked for a bottle beer instead and the girl was very confused and had toask the manager. That took 5 minutes. I don't mind that it was 39.00 for a medium pizza and 3 beers but I do mind that I wasstill hungry because I couldn't eat the food. Read more
My experience was terrible, my phone in order was incorrect, and my sandwich had almost no meat on it, and it didn't taste that... good. Probably because it was all bread and not much of anything else. I frequent this straw hat often, and it is just gettingbad. I give them no stars, for the same money you can go to one of the other local places, and get a much better sandwich.Please see the pic below.
