The staff is lovely, service is always good, the board games are a fun addition, and the drinks I have had are good. I find the... food is almost always a miss and it is way too expensive for this to be the case. In my experience this is the most expensiverestaurant in Williams Lake and the food is unfortunately not reflective of this. Read more
The steak was great, as good if not better than the Keg's steaks. Service on the other hand was lacking. I saw my server three... times, once when the she took my order, once when she brought me a beer, and when I caught her eye to ask for the bill. Nooffer of water no offer of another drink. The restaurant was far from busy and I saw lots of staff. Maybe a little trainingwould make this a more pleasant experience. Read more
I would give 0 stars if I could I tried stopping they’re for a nice dinner while passing through town. First the host... didn’t even greet me, and just told me they were at capacity, when there were tables open in sight. Then I was told there wasa 20 minute wait by the host, when I said that’s not bad, he then changed it to 30 minute, and then 40 minutes. Then as I wasleaving, he proceeded to help another couple of people after me. It would have been more polite to just refuse me service to myface rather than blatantly beat around the bush that I was the wrong color to be seated. Read more
We waited 25 min for our table and another 15 min for service...we were about to walk out, but my husband brought it to the... hostesses attention. She got on it and a server came over immediately apologizing. The Manger took care of the tables firstround of drinks to compensate us. Dinner came and it was really good. I had the scookumchuck chicken burger with Cascadiasalad...it was awesome! It started off rocky but ended where we were extremely satisfied from the food and the service. Read more
We are up visiting family and Friday we decided to go to Mr. Mikes, the website said it closed at 10pm and it was 9pm so we... figured we had lots of time. There was no one at the front and took a while before someone came to the front. The girls saidthey were closed! We were like well you should change the website, the sign on the door and turn off the open sign. Tonight wethought, oh it’s 7pm we should go now. There were others waiting to be seated and got seated. Then the waitress comes back andsays sorry we are too busy and closing soon! We will NEVER go to that restaurant again when in Williams Lake! In town for a night back in September, was looking for something local, but not too many dinner options in the area, that’s... why ended up at Me Mike’s. Even though not what I was looking for, the staff provided service was great, and food was awesome. Read more
My Mike burger was excellent, my only complaint is that when you order a side of gravy they only give you a thimble full, not... enough to even get through half of your fries. Restaurant was very cold inside, as you looked around the dining room at least80% of the customers had there coats on, the temperature was obviously set for the comfort of the staff not the PAYINGcustomers.
