Traveling on our way back home, and after having a bad experience immediately before calling this place, we were merely looking... for a place to pick up a quick sandwich and fries. We ordered 2 Club Sandwiches and 2 orders of fries. Food was adequate, butvery large portions - sandwich enough for two meals and extra large portion of fries. Had to add seasonings to fries as thereare none added when cooked. Order was placed via phone for pick-up and it was about a 30 minute wait which allowed time for usto get there. Would patronize again for something easy and quick. Good value. Read more
New York Deli is a locals "go-to" for great food. Check out the salads ????, subs, and especially the Ruben....???????? Did I... mention the pizza? ????YUM! Visited for dessert and WOW!! The Carrot ???? Cake ???? was to die for!! ???? My wife and I split1 piece and almost didn't finish it!! ???????? My son had a piece of Chocolate Tower Cake and he had to get a 'Doggie Bag' ?!?! The coffee ?? was good, also. Wow!!! Just had a Sailor Sandwich ???? on Rye (pastrami and knockworst) and had to unhinge myjaws to get a bite !! ???? Read more
I generally want to give good reviews and I went here because it had a good rating and a good crowd around it, but I'm... unimpressed. The inside was nice and the service was good... And MAYBE if you're from Virginia the subs are good, but if you'refrom New Jersey these are subpar. The subs are big, but the rolls are too soft and soggy. And the flavor just isn't quite there.Maybe the pizza is better, I don't know. A place that calls themselves New York deli should do better, I wouldn't recommend. Read more

I'm from CT where rarely people visit fast food chains pizza places, so it was a breath of fresh air to actually visit a genuine... NY style pizza restaurant. Their pizza does not disappoint and I can truly say if you're out of towners or just want to get theNY pizza experience along with some genuine Stromboli, visit NEW YORK DELI, you'll be extremely satisfied!! I have to admit that I was skeptical of the food. I'm from NYC, and I grew up on New York pizza, so I had to see what this place... was about. The Italian sub that I ordered was very good. Now, to some, a sub is a sub, but there's something about the breadand the quality of the meat and other ingredients that sets subs apart. That was the case here. One of my sons ordered pizza.THIS was the real test for me. Excellent pizza! I was impressed! It really had an authentic New York pizza taste to it. Ihighly recommend this place. Read more
