3.5 Stars overall We love trying new-to-us restaurants. What we loved: -The portions were great. -The food tasted good. -Free... chips and salsa. -Comfortable booth. What we did not like: -The server. -We had barely been sat when she asked for our drinkorder. -She was unhelpful when trying to choose a Margarita. So I opted out of it. -She was not warm and welcoming in eitherlanguage. - Don't ask me how the food is if you don't bother to stick around to hear the answer. - She didn't notice we wereshort a menu or utensils. This restaurant is amazing! The staff was very friendly and we were seated immediately. Despite being shorthanded during our... visit, the waiters were hard working and attentive. Our food came out very quickly. The presentation was excellent and theflavor was unbelievable! My wife is a big fan of fajitas and she said that was the best fajita meal she'd ever eaten! I grew up on TexMex and was hoping this place would remind me of home, but it is more of a miss than anything. I will say the... beans and cheese dip was different but good. I ordered a taco salad and the lettuce was so wet, I had standing water on themeat, just making it all taste soggy. My youngest ordered the kids beef taco with cheese only, and he said it tasted very weird,so I tried a bite, and it was super greasy. The waitress was very nice, she didn't charge me for his meal, offered to remake it,but my son said he didn't want anything with grease in it. All said and done, I probably won't be coming back anytime soon. Theatmosphere was nice and the people friendly, just the food needs a bit of help. Read more
We've come here twice in a row for our dinner while vacationing in Williamsburg. Each time the food and service has been... amazing. They start you with a bowl of fresh chips, salsa and queso. The queso has a layer of refried beans at the bottom andit's the perfect combo. The entree's they have available are varied but they have all the Staples you expect. The enchiladas andtacos we had were perfect. Not to mention that their sopapillas we're the perfect end cap to an amazing meal. The food is sogood some of the pictures we had already started to dig in because it looked too good. The staff are very welcoming, friendly,and attentive. We stopped in Virginia on our way home from NC. We accidentally found this place near our hotel room. Let me just say the... employees are very hospitable and attentive. The young man serving us must of came to me asking if I needed something because Ikept looking around....I was admiring the establishment. The food was amazing!!! I had the rice with pork chops, they tastedlike Chicharon. The nachos and bean/cheese they give you complimentary was fresh and delicious. Let's not forget to mentionthe Margarita.
