We are from out of the area so while visiting MA we wanted to stop at as many restaurants as possible. This was by far my... favorite of the week. We went here with a party of 6 for a birthday. Everyone was impressed! Excellent food, great portionsizes. Accommodating, friendly staff, fast service. Gorgeous, cozy, cottage-feel decor and atmosphere with plenty of visuals tolook at around the restaurant. I took my left overs home and it was still so delicious the next day! Great wine, beer, andcocktails selections and the restaurant smells so nice because they have scented candles burning all over. We will definitelyrevisit 6 House Pub if we are in the area again!! Great food and location! I stayed at the 1896 house inn and walked here from my room. The raspberry chicken and lobster roll was... so good! Read more

Had dinner with my wife and nice here recently. Every corner of the pub is comfortable and inviting. The food is very good. The... trout dip special was spectacular. If they're still serving it when you get there, order it . I had the Caesar salad with realanchovies and was delighted to taste that the dressing was made, not poured from a bottle. The other meals were prepared withcare and served with care as well. Drink offerings were inspired and tasty. Read more

Raspberry chicken was disappointing. One small, thin chicken breast with a Raspberry sauce on it, carrots, and mashed potatoes... for $20. Not much food. They added a 20% gratuity on the bill because there was a group of us. This used to be one of myfavorite places... Read more

Wonderful place to eat delicious. fresh food! Hubby and I stopped in for lunch and both had delicious burgers with fries. The... burger was cooked perfectly to our request of medium rare, the fries were golden, piping hot and seasoned. We each ordered adifferent beer on tap and both were very nice local brews. The waiter was extremely courteous and checked on us severaltimes. I would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be going back. Read more

I visited the 6 House Pub after seeing their special for Ahi Tacos posted on Facebook. Pleased to say they were better than we... anticipated! The staff was friendly. Looking forward to a return trip. Read more

The ambiance was drab, dated and musty/moldy smell permeated throughout. Seating was uncomfortable at best. My baked scrod was... two very thin slices, looked like sole, the ?bread crumb? topping was raw crumbled ritz crackers, not sautéed with butter andnot broiled crisp. The crackers were not encrusted. This restaurant, in my opinion should close, and merely function a bar. FYI- our server was nice. Read more

$10 dollars for mozzarella 'moons' and in the picture I get this. $2 dollars per stick, if I wanted mozzarella sticks, I would... made the ones at home that I have a box of from Farm Rich that was $8 dollars for 30. I think it would be good idea to fix thaton your menu, that way you are not misleading customers on what they are buying. I wouldn't have bought it if I was told what itwas otherwise. I guess prices changed for the meals I ordered, but again, no incentive to update their menus. The secondpicture kind of infuriates me. People do want to work but are waking up to the fact they are paid poorly, receive minimalbenefits, having bad insurance, etc. People are struggling to find an employer that treats them fairly and actually pays alivable wage. In this industry alone, it's okay and legal to push the burden onto me and customers to supplement the server'swage. It's becomes a moral obligation at that point to help the person out because the employer won't. Rather than complainingabout people not wanting to work, you may want to practice self reflection. It may help you recognize strategies and solutionsto your hiring issue. Read more
