In the spirit of the holidays the server was clearly looking for a bigger tip… It was just me and my boyfriend for dinner.... The server took it upon himself to assume we needed everything family style (instead of maybe just asking, like a goodrestaurant would have it’s a servers do). We ordered 2 apps and 2 entrees, again there was 2 of us, so that makes sense right?Didn’t fully realize until entrees came and a pasta platter that could’ve served 6 people comes out. And then another! Ihave no problem paying for the food I ordered but it’s just a VERY shady thing to do. And food was just OK, best thing was myCaesar salad. Manager AND server never came over to check how food was, if they had maybe I would’ve said something. Probablybecause they knew they were scamming more money out of me and my boyfriend. First time I went to la parma ordered out it was great i will be back. Ordered linguini with red clam sauce and linguini with... white clam sauce. Price was comparable to other restaurants in area but much more food and better. Those 2 trays were $18 each.They weren't afraid to put clams and garlic in. Read more

I love this place.. great food.. family style ratting.. have been here many times. Was there today for a private party and it... was really good plenty of food spread out on the tables.. the apps were the best. I suggest the calamari and stuffed mushrooms.Definitely a must go Read more

It's hard for me to go out for Italian food because I grew up in an Italian family. Usually the sauce isn't as good as home,... and it's usually overly salty. I've gotta say I was incredibly satisfied with La Parma's output. The food is served familystyle which I didn't care for but as long as the group you're with is cooperative it should work out ok. The portions areproperly sized for large families. The food was seasoned perfectly and wasn't too salty at all. The staff was very nice andhelpful and attentive to the table as well. Excellent food, huge family style portions. But this is a dining experience. Don't expect to eat quickly. It's always crowded... and busy. Waiters are nice and bust their hump working. A reservation is almost always a must. My martini was a little watereddown but nice size. Read more
