I had my doubts when the barista pulled the espresso and oat foam into my to go cup and it looked a bit flat. I was wrong! This... coffee got me very zippy, very quickly. Foam was sufficiently dense. Unexpectedly great coffee stop. Read more

We stopped at this this amazing gem of a breakfast/lunch/coffee/pastry on a road trip! We couldn?t of picked a better place to... stop. The owner, Tom Mann was so nice . We had mushroom and wild rice soup. It was perfect! It was cold that?s why we decided tohave, because the menu looks soooo yummy. We also tried the vegetarian scuffin and the gluten free apple coffee cake Read more

A real coffee House and Cafe, Tom really knows what he's doing there. Good food great service, and taking care for the customers... during the pandemic. Plus, supports local art, you really can't beat a place like that! <3 PS A year later, I am enjoying theBreakfast Popper and coffee. I absolutely love it ????????. So glad to see it imbued with such magic, such art, a gladness ofspirit. This is a place the corporate world wishes it could copy but always falls short. Small business like this are a creditto any town, please stop and see for yourself. Read more

Attention to details brought your usual breakfast fare up a couple of notches. Lox bagel is our group favorite but all the... breakfast poppers are fantastic. Let's not forget the local artworks on display, great music and overall happy layback vibe. Read more

I got a breakie sandwich not on the menu. Don?t know why bagels aren?t part of their egg sandwich lineup, but the bagels are... great, as was the bacon. Service was pleasant and reasonably quick. Warm, cheerful interior. I?d definitely come back! Read more

Stopped here after reading some other reviews that said I HAD to try the Breakfast Popper. Boy oh boy! I wasn?t disappointed. ... The sandwich arrived just as I showed in the photo with cheesy, ooziness coming out of the middle! I don?t recall breathingsince I inhaled the entire sandwich quickly. I washed it down with an Americano and was 100% satisfied with my experience. Friendly staff and a great breakfast sandwich was a wonderful treat in an unfamiliar town! I?d easily return to the BrickhouseCoffee and recommend travelers passing by to stop and do the same. Good job! Read more

I was traveling and thought I'd stop here to get a little bit of work done. I ordered an almond flavored latte and the veggie... "scuffin" and I was genuinely blown away by the quality of both! The food seemed to be basically a pie with a scone base.Whatever it was, it was really tasty! The flavors were very well balanced, and it wasn't too rich. The only thing I would say isthat it's a little oily, so eat with a fork if you can. On to the coffee: it was easily one of the best ten lattes I've everhad (and that's saying something as a former barista). The espresso was barely bitter -- it just had that little bit that youwant. The milk was steamed perfectly and left a good amount of really beautiful wet foam. I was honestly shocked to findsomething so great from a little hole-in-the-wall in the middle of nowhere. The staff was also excellent; you can tell thatit's a functional team of baristas who enjoy working with each other. The owner was also walking around and working in the back.I talked to him for a few minutes and he seems like a nice enough guy who's really proud of what he's done and the quality ofhis stuff. Overall, I would give this place a 10/10, and would recommend stopping by if you're in the area. Read more

Nice pit stop place as you drive down the 101. Town is charming and there's a historic theater, Carnegie library and park within... 100 yards walk. Ordered a latte which was very strong. I ended up buying milk later to cut the flavor because it was too strongfor me but if you like bold coffee you will love it. Looks like the building it is in used to be a bank as the coolers are in avault. Kind of cool Read more
