Was in the area and decided to stop here for the first time ever to see what the hype was all about! The food itself was... decent. Burger was a bit bland to be honest, but for a fast-food place it was alright. It cost us $17 for two meals, notbad. FYI, you can?t split transactions here. We wanted to pay for our meals separately but it?s only one transaction per car.Not a big deal, just a minor inconvenience. My reason for leaving three stars was the worker?s attitude. I genuinely could notstand it. I have experience working in customer service/the food industry, and the general rule of thumb is to not act likeyou?re miserable and hate your job in front of customers. I understand that it can be very stressful at times, but in thisinstance we were maybe 1 of 4 cars in the lot. Read more

Food was really good. The onion rings were a little too hard but still good. The drinks were extremely sweet like syrup and no... ginger ale. The manager fixed us 2 more drinks and had a great attitude!! They were good. I'd def go back Read more

Burger was delicious. Fries came with salt on the side (no salt sticks!) Had the chocolate shake. Hit a home run on that one.... Service was great. They were running to the cars. Will go back again. I highly recommend. Read more

Hoping this was a one time experience. Could not wait to stop at Swensons since we are college students visiting home for a... week from out of state Could see the servers attitude completely change once they saw the tip amount. And to top it off, oncewe arrived back to our hotel in Mentor, I found my galley boy was completely pink on one of the patties. As a fellow collegekid trying to get by, and I also work at a fast food establishment-I have some words of advice for your crew members, neverexpect a tip especially although they are nice, and no matter how stressed or rushed you feel it is always better to make acustomer wait rather than possibly give them food poisoning. Some good notes, teasers and chicken nuggets were great and ourdrinks were perfect! Read more

First visit, really enjoyed it. Service was prompt and friendly. Ordering was easy once we told them it was our first... visit. We had double cheeseburgers, fries and a tasty strawberry shake. Burger was made to order and delicious. While I'dprefer to eat at a table, eating in the car wasn't so bad, and it's for the experience. Handy tip for other first timers, parkyour car so that the number on the pavement is at your hood. Read more

Tried the fish sandwich and BLT. Fries were underwhelming, could have been fresher and it took about half hour to get our... because they were busy, but other than that everything was great. Read more

This was my first experience with this particular restaurant chain. I have never been to any location within this chain. This... chain is takeout only which means you either eat in your car or you take it home. You pull into the parking lot and the serverperson comes to you and takes your order from your car. I ordered a single cheeseburger, fried mushrooms, and a Pepsi. As youwill see in the pictures a single hamburger is not on the menu you have to ask for it. In addition, when you order a hamburgerthe only thing that comes with it is condiments. If you want lettuce or tomatoes or anything else on it those items are extra. Ihave never in my life been to a hamburger place where I had to pay for lettuce and tomatoes on a hamburger! When my first Burgercame out the bun was so dry that it literally crumpled all over me. I was told that the buns are toasted and that in this casemine was over done. When I asked for a replacement burger they had no problem giving it to me. The second burger came out with anon toasted bun which doesn't really matter. In my personal taste palette though I did not care for the taste of their hamburgerbuns although you may feel differently. Personal Taste aside, you should know that all of the items there except for condimentsare a la carte. I also noticed that the beef patty itself was exceptionally thin. That explains why they would have double andtriple burgers on their menu in my opinion. I guess I can see that the restaurant chain is trying to keep the nostalgia of anera that has gone by long ago. They boast about being in business since 1934 yet it doesn't seem to me like they have adapted tothe current Era. Some people might like it this way. Stop in and judge for yourself. Read more

Friendly and fast service. Took the food home with me. Got a galley boy, potato Puffs, and a jamocha shake. Taste was great but... wish the galley boy was a bit bigger. Would be willing to pay a couple bucks more to get a bigger one. Read more
