Had a dinner party for 10 people and ordered ribs, pulled chicken, pulled pork, mac & cheese, cole slaw and cornbread from... Smokey Bandit. The food was outstanding. This was the best BBQ I have had in the last 20 years! The pulled pork is amazing, the collards are mastery and the Mac and... Cheese has that wonderful pull that comes from the correct amount if cheese!! I will definitely be back for the rubs andchicken next time!! Your taste buds will thank you for a wonderful meal!!! I always check google for restaurants near my location and this hole-in-the-wall place just popped up and it?s crazy because... I?ve been living here for years! The place needs more signage specially on the door, but everyone there are polite and nice andpointed me in the right direction. We ordered brisket and ribs and a selection of sides and they?re all great. The brisket andribs are a little on the dry side but their amazing secret sauce made up for it. This place is the definition of "hole in the wall goodness"! We sat outside on the picnic table to enjoy our meal. We ordered... the brisket platter and rib platter. So much food! We were staying in a local hotel so we didn't take our leftovers but we hadplenty. Two people could split a platter. Don't sleep on the Mac and cheese or glazed carrots guys running the show wereawesome. This place is a hidden gem. Dine in consists of sitting inside the VFW [smoking permitted) so we opted for outside.The bonus is a full bar to get your favorite refreshment. Bartender was super nice. Most people apparently get take out ordoor dash. If ever back here again we will be stopping by. Read more
Being from Texas, I was fortunate to find this spot to eat. The portions sizes are great!!! The ribs are wonderfully seasoned... and flavorful, moist falls off the bone, you don't need the BBQ sauce. Collard greens and cornbread compliments the ribs, andof course SWEET TEA, (HOUSE WINE IN THE SOUTH). GREAT LITTLE SPOT!!! Read more
