I love this restaurant. It is a quintessential pizza joint, delicious food, cozy interior, perfect in any season. In a town... where trendy and chic is on every corner, hands-down, the sweet dependable Big Tomato is my Friday-night go-to for TGIF dinnertime! the savory thin-crust super-cheesy, meat-lover pizza, fresh & crisp Village Salad (with salty feta, perfect cucumber andbig olives) and topped off with a piece of ooie-gooie chocolate lava cake. My mouth starts watering around 3pm on Fridayafternoon in anticipation. It’s BYOB. Owner Alberto ALWAYS has a smile on his face. Welcoming, happy. I see lots of joyfulparties being held there. This pizza is phenomenal! I came all the way from Chicago just to eat. Needless to say it was so much better than the other... pizza I had last week in Chicago. It was also alot cheaper. Would give it 10 stars if I could. Read more
Best pizza place I’ve eaten from in awhile. Would definitely recommend the pan and deep dish. Not too thick on the cheese or... sauce and just enough to get the full flavor. I’d also recommend that people eat at Big Tomato and support a true small shopinstead of spending their money at Napolita Pizzeria and Wine Bar. Less expensive and more bang for your buck. Read more
I literally am in shock at what just happened. We called this place and asked how long the wait was, and the person who answered... said “depends on what you order “. I said “oh I mean to sit!” There was a long pause and she said “you can just comein.” She seemed annoyed that I called. I shouldn’t have proceeded to take our family there, but I did. We walked in. Thegirl rolled her eyes, walked behind the register and ignored us. So we walked up and said “oh do we order here?” She mumbled“you can do whatever you want.” So we said, “ok but where is a menu?” She pointed at a basket of paper menus. We walkedover and reluctantly said she’d take our order. Every table was filthy. We waited for about 8 minutes. She never came backout. We literally just had to walk out and leave because she never came to take our order or check on us or clear a table. Itwas unbelievable. Read more

This place is great. I went here with my family, and everybody loved it! The salad is always fresh, (I was told they were bought... at a local Farmers Market) and the pizza is very good. The deep dish is pretty good, but this place really shines at it's thincrust. It's very? crunchy, and the sauce is sweet, but tomato-ey. So, in review, get the margarita pizza and the house salad.You won't be disappointed! Read more
