We ordered sandwiches to go. On the website, the sandwich list was very different than what was available in the market. That... was disappointing as the sandwiches on the website sounded better. The ciabatta bread was not fresh. It was very hard on bothsandwiches. The website lists sandwiches come with chips but the guy working the counter didn’t know if there were chips andthen he found some but didn’t say if they came with sandwich or not . Store and cafe in same bldg but confusing. I finally, mid afternoon, persuaded them to warm a pizza at the restaurant from the... store, and serve us outside. Added a wine and Ice tea; 2 person-sized pizzas. $40. Gave him $60. Asked the server to give $5 tolady in store. Great result. Good conversation with another couple. We had such a nice Mother's Day brunch. Beignets, wine, quiche and omelet. Cappuccino. Yum!
Really nice place and it is authentic, we stopped by to get lunch after the beach, I love these kind of places, but to be... honest, there is room for improvement service wise. We had to keep asking for little things like spoon and some sugar withcappuccino, salt, napkins and stuff like that. We also felt rushed with the check. But I will despite all this come back forsure. Wow, 1st impression was great. The handmade pizzas were right in front of me. The market had so much variety to offer. Had a bit... of a drive ahead if me with no way to keep things cold so I just bought some pastry items. These were amazing. Cannot wait toget back here when things open up. The cafe is calling me.
