Been returning to Homer?s many years- my family tried different ice cream tastes and none have been a miss. Their ice creams are... not over-sugared like in so many other places, they actually have the taste you picked. Always freshly kneaded, they deliverevery time ! We visited Homer's Ice Cream to try their hot dogs and ice creams. I'd give a 4 for the food and 5 for the ice cream. Their... Chicago style hot dogs weren't too bad, though as I was getting closer to my final bite, I thought it would've been nice if thepickles weren't too big or if the frank was bigger. Their fries were actually pretty good, coming out very hot and crispy. I?ve worked here. Food is okay. Icecream area is absolutely trashed at all times, only one person cleans/wipes down counters,... hand washing doesn?t happen. Been coming here for years still the best ice cream ever and I try any new Ice cream on the market and all new Ice Cream shops... that open anywhere! So far still the tops. Especially their Spumoni and Coffee flavors and coconut and cherry and vanilla andevery flavor they make is my favorite. ice cream tasted great, but the way they made it was a bit worrisome. I ordered peach in a waffle cone and they needed to open a... new sleeve of waffle cones. no problem, but the young guy who was handling my ice cream touched money right before and continuedhandling the waffle cones without washing his hands. he also opened the sleeve with his teeth. if I did this at my oldrestaurant I'd be fired on the spot. thought about asking him to wash his hands but didn't want to be a Karen. Excellent ice cream, very friendly service

We LOVE Homer?s!! Best ice cream in the North Shore. We got here a bit before 9pm on a Monday night and the place was packed.... They have a great variety of flavors and their portions are very generous. The decor is old school / tacky but the ice creamparlour experience is just marvellous. Read more
