Perfect setting outside the kitchen for 4 for the Chef's Tasting. Special touch with the personalized menus (but the spelling... was wrong-who cares) Portions were perfect! 5 courses. The old bay shrimp boil is so good and the presentation is beautiful. This restaurant’s food is amazing and worth the price.... They can get a little busy and your server really will be the wager wether your experience is good. I’ve been multiple times.The food never disappoints. They have outdoor seating, right by the water is really nice. Also the inside of the restaurant isluxurious. This is a wonderful place to have a family dinner, special event and even engagement. Food was good, service was great. Bathrooms were nothing fancy...but they have actual faucets instead of motion sensors...huge... +! I had the lobster mac and cheese. The cheese was kind of watery for my taste, but it was decent. The complimentary bread isexcellent. My girlfriend got a fish...she said it was decent. Everything was very expensive. Server was very attentive,professional and social. Setting was very nice, although there seemed to be a lot of flies. Everything was delicious. I did not expect my crab soup to have corn & green beans in it and I expected more crab for the... price. Lemon Drop Martini was on point. Out seating has a great view of the water. Very relaxing. Great atmosphere. Gotthere early 4pm before my 430pm dinner reservation and sat at the bar expecting to get an app & drink for Happy Hour and wastold they don't have Happy Hour. Nice to see upscale dining in Delaware, but not all that. Mussels (meat) are are the size of walnuts! Good shoestring fries... but one with fish n chips not so much...stale and soggy. The fish part of fish n chips is a filet battered and cooked well. The crab cake sat in airlines even when I asked if its separate. Its good for the area but poor by seafood standards. Read more

Wow! Our first time at Banks and it didn't disappoint!! It is our 10th wedding anniversary, so it was even more special. Food... was absolutely amazing and our server Amanda was top notch!!
