Corner Bistro is one of our favorite places in North Wilmington. The place has a cool vibe. There is indoor and outdoor seating,... a bar area, and a dining room broken into two separate rooms. The food is American and very good. It's a great place to spend anevening. Read more

0/10. Simply because the waitress was rude. My husband and I went here for a nice brunch date. It was a beautiful July morning(... about 11am) we asked the woman if we can sit outside, she said no. When asked why, she said because it?s 100 degrees out. In anasty tone. (It?s important to note it was 80degrees , and sunny? a beautiful day). Cute little place. Ironically the French fries were awesome. All plates were presented well. Haley was our server and she was... excellent. The duck meatballs were good. Fish races were ok but heavy on the pickled onions. Cocktail menu was good. Read more
It was my first visit here. I ordered the Crab and Red Pepper Bisque and as you can see it did not come with a lump of crab.... Went back to request a copy of my receipt only to be greeted with an attitude by the waitress who wears heavy eyeliner that ithad been discarded a long time ago. No problem. Eventually, another server was kind enough to assist and reprint another receiptsince an hour had passed from my initial visit. The bisque was delicious although the main ingredient was missing. Corner bistro was great. It was our first time, and we will definitely be back. The ambiance was great, and so was the service... for lunch. I got the French onion soup which was great. My fiancé got the crab bisque (it?s red if you were wondering), and weboth got sandwiches. I got the Cubano, and he got the grilled cheese, and we each took a piece of the other so we could both tryeach one being our first time. We were highly impressed with both sandwiches. We would both order exactly what we ordered again,and be completely happy with the order. It was a little pricey finishing off at $47 (with no alcoholic drinks), but you get agood serving of each item which makes it worth it in my book. Been coming to The Corner Bistro since the early 2000s, and I've never had a bad meal there. Food is lovingly prepared with as... many local ingredients as possible, and the service is top notch. Great for a date, great for taking a client out to dinner, andit'll impress your in-laws, too. Excellent drinks, desserts, and brunch too. Bonus: Since the pandemic, they have spaced thetables out a bit more, so you don't have to worry about folks at the next table giving you the plague du jour. A reservationisn't mandatory, but it's definitely a good idea if you don't want to wait for a table. Read more
