This black owned vegetarian restaurant is AMAZING! The food was absolutely delicious. It was flavorful, presentable and... fulfilling. Everything is fresh and cooked to order!! The cornbread muffins were tasty, warm and soft. The Classic VSteak wastender, well seasoned and the sauce was great. Also pictured is the Marley salad and yes, it tastes as good as it looks! We've been here a few times and the menu is always different. We enjoy trying new things and always loved everything we picked... and feel great after eating it. Came in very indecisive today, but after hearing the brunch special, we had to try it. I wasn'tsure how I'd feel about vegan cheesy grits without shrimp since that's how I usually eat them. They suggested the vegan lobsteroption (which I think was hearts of palm) and it was delicious and channeled a seafood vibe, the grits were delightfully creamyand cheesy. We also got the curry goat wrap (chickpea based). Although I was expecting a more savory curry, this was a bit onthe sweet side, but it was still delightful in texture and flavor. My toddler thoroughly enjoyed the waffle and vbacon, as wellas the mac and cheese and yams. Everything is homemade/made fresh order so I was glad we brought a book and an activity to dowith the little one while we waited. Everything is worth the wait, but it can be hard to remember in a fast casual society thatgood food takes time to make and plate when you get used to how fast some places can be. Food is excellent, but overpriced for the portion sizes. Love the location at the river. We dined in for the first time... recently, very unique interior. Service was great that day, which unfortunately is not always the case. So far the food has beengood enough to come back though. Read more
This place ROCKS. Cashier (Miera, sp?) is the nicest person you'll ever meet, ready to help you with any questions and excited... to get you delicious vegan food! Is it healthy? Kinda. Is it amazing? YES. I got the chicken tacos and BLT. I'm told they make avegan bacon grease. I've had many vegan BLTs and this one takes the cake. It's my instant go-to restaurant, not to mention areally pretty view of the river and outdoor seating! You won't regret it. Read more

Excellent service. I went there with my friends for the first time and our cashier was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She had... some great recommendations if you're not vegan and don't know what to order, like me. My chickpea curry wrap with yams and aside of mac and cheese were absolutely delicious, filling, made to order, well packaged to-go and remained hot for quite sometime.
