Beautiful historic space with a great bar. Cocktails were worth it! The food was also quite nice. I really enjoyed the onion... soup. It’s a great bar if you are in your own as well. First review on my new page!!! Let’s Dish!! So I went to a fairly new restaurant with “French influenced menu” Le... Cavalier in Wilmington, Delaware in the DuPont Hotel. The service was extremely good ???????? from the phone call changing thetime of my visit to my waitress, hostess and random servers who would also check in on you. You are greeted the moment you stepin the hotel and restaurant. The food is good but not great. The scallops were cooked well, had a nice sear but not chewy! Nota huge fan of capers. The small potatoes were done nicely. The mussels were small but seasoned well enough. The bread grilledwith it was delicious. The wine ???? ordered was smooth. Would I go back….maybe? I absolutely love this restaurant. The service is amazing and the food is really really good. It’s such a perfect place for a... date because of how pretty the place is. We don’t have to reserve a table too long in advance which is nice. You HAVE TO getthe chicken, its cooked perfectly with very nice mash potatoes. Overall, it was an awesome experience. Read more

Wow such a great dinner experience. The ambiance and historic room is so beautiful. The branzino was fantastic. Staff was all... super friendly and able to accommodate a change in our party at the last minute. The wine and cocktail list is extensive. Woulddefinitely recommend for a nice evening out! Read more

The whole experience was great. Our waitress was amazing. If you ever have the chance to go there, make sure that your waitress... is Tee and the drinks manger is Robert. They made our experience here amazing. The food was good, my only complaint would bethat the ceviche wasn't as good as ceviche that I have had in Colombia. But that's a minor complaint compared to how amazingeverything else was. The atmosphere was a reminder of my times in Europe. Read more

The room looks really cool. So much potential as you are seated. The bloody Mary was great, then... food was mediocre at best... and service was really sub par. Nice people but bad service and attention. Food arrival timing was really bad with many itemsmissing for over 10 minutes - not just a side, but syrup for the waffles - come on y'all. Look at the hot sauce pic I added -gross - they have 2 of these in the restaurant (our waitress let us know this fun LeCavalier fact while she was chasing one downfor us) - maybe next week they can clean them up before brunch. Bacon is great if you like it kinda raw. I really wanted thisto be a great experience in Wilmington, but disappointed once again... Even when the food is just OK... if it were deliveredwith great service- it would make all the difference in the world. We'll wait for the next restaurant to move into this space. Read more

I came a couple of time and every time it’s awesome.. the food it’s delicious, we had today French toast, French omelette... and burger…..coffee all variants are exceptional, espresso, americano, capuchino as well as the mimosas….Any time that Icame for brunch I tried a different option from the menu…. It was a quiet Monday lunchtime. Very attentive staff. The restaurant is in hotel Dupont. There is parking along the streets and... it's paid. Lux and detailed setting makes you feel that you will be taken care of. And indeed they did. From the host to theserver and the salon manager, I felt good. They did not have my choices (picked online) but I did get the crab dip withcrostini. A bit too lemony for my taste but I finished it as it wasn't too overpowering. I would recommend in a heartbeat.
