This was my second visit after a few years and I must admit I had a much better experience! Our sever was personable and... attentive. The atmosphere was busy yet pleasant and not too noisy. I ordered the crab stuffed shrimp, broccoli, and their cheesypotatoes. The potatoes were excellent! Though the shrimp dish was good, with a little more flavor it would have been excellent.Also, it would be great if the broccoli was served cut instead of in the form of two trees. Great service and great food! My steak was cooked perfectly. My drink was tasty. The ambiance is perfect for a date night. I... got the cheesesteak eggs and lobster bisque for my app. My entree was a ribeye with shrimp, and the sides were asparagus and macand cheese. Service was great. The waitress was a young bubbly 25 year old just out of training; but just as professional and welcoming as... if she had been doing it for years. The food was good too. Great dinner! We had the New York strip and the Jumbo Crab cakes. Classy take on hostess making you check that the steak is to... your desired wellness. Wish crab cakes were a little larger but still filling. Steak had a nice char to the outside. Love thatthe fat was still on the steak. Don't like the waiting room. Too small people on top of each other. Hostess did a hell of a jobgetting people seated though. Overall experience was great will be going back. Make a reservation very busy. Read more
I am torn about this review because RJs experience was more of a 5 and mine was more of a 3. Sullivan was our 4th choice for... dinner, as the other options were booked weeks ago. Our reservation was at 7 and we were seated within 10 minutes. Nick was ourserver and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. We tried to order the Passionflower drink and we were disappointed theydidn't have it. We ordered blueberry lemon drop instead, and both seemed like less than full glasses. We started with pork bellyand seared tuna. The tuna was amazing, perfectly seared with cucumbers and a spicy kick. I thought the pork belly was ok but RJreally enjoyed it. We both ordered the filet, I ordered 8 oz and he ordered 12. I told Nick I wanted rare but not cold so hesaid that would be medium rare, and RJ ordered the same. The problem is they cooked my 8 oz filet just as long as his 12ozresulting in mine being overcooked. As many times as Nick checked on us, he did not check to see if the steaks were done right.It took almost an hour to get them so sending it back wasn't an option. They were obviously short-staffed, and Nick waswonderful, it was just disappointing. RJs steak was amazing, juicy, rare, and full of flavor. Mine was borderline chewy and dry.The cheddar gratin potatoes were good but a little bland. The bananas foster bread pudding was expected to be a bowl of bananafoster bread pudding, but we were surprised it was just a square. It was also ok. We have a tradition of having a spectaculardinner on New Years Day somewhere but we walked away from this one saying well that was expensive for ok. Read more
We came in here on a Friday night first time for both of us. We were seated pretty fast only waited maybe 8 minutes. Husband was... in love with his appetizer and I loved my shrimp it was very refreshing. To say this is a quiet relaxing dinner is a perfectreview to say the least. We relaxed we didn’t feel rushed the food wasn’t overly done and not to much but not smallamounts. The food was absolutely incredible and tasty the prime rib was moist tender and melted in your mouth. The macaroni wasdelightful and brought back at home memories. The waitress was super sweet and did her best to wait us and many othertables. Over all I’d give this a 5 out if 5 stars and a worth Bite to try. We arrived around 8:30 and was seated right away. The atmosphere was beautiful and the service was great:) Other than the burnt... food; we had a great time. The manager had no problem was adjusting our bill. Not sure if I would give this restaurant anothertry; but we’ll see:) Read more
