Was visiting Wilmington for the 1st time. Looked for a good soul food place and this came up. Unfortunately, it didn't live up... to the hype. I ordered the 2pc breast meal with corn on the cob and macaroni salad. The salad was good but my portion was verysmall. Corn was perfect. The wing was good but the breast meat was on the salty side. Well, I was disappointed and had expectations. There's not many southern/soul food resting Wilmington. We ran across this one.... Even PresiBiden recommended. The macaroni salad was such a small portion, though my sister said it was good. The string beanshad no flavor. The Mac n cheese was bland. My mom said her collards was made with vinegar, which she doesn't like. My rice andbeans had a small stone in it, maybe rice wasn't cleaned properly. Our job did a huge catering order because I recommended them. Bad idea to say the least..the chicken looked like it was... yesterday's chicken VERY dark and dried out now I used to like my chicken dropped back on occasions for myself but for a largecatering order it should have been fresh. We could barely chew it. The potatoe salad was good as usual and the mac and cheesewas ok. The greens taste like it straight out of a can.
