If I could give no stars, I unfortunately would. This happened on 9/14/22. As you can see that is a screw, probably from... whatever pan is being used to cook in. We obviously called and were told sorry, but unfortunately this just left a bad taste inour mouths. We have been going here for a quite a while and it was always good. It has gone downhill and this just topped itoff. We were only initially offered a refund for whatever dish the screw could have been in. We then demanded a full refund,which we were then told we could get a credit for meals in the future. I?m sorry but we don?t want any more food, we wanted ourmoney back. Not to mention, the food wasn?t even that great! So then we were told we could have gotten a full refund, but on thesame day. Makes no sense but okay. (Never were told that though the night it happened) how convenient. Also, just some food forthought, if there was a screw in our food and they didn?t notice that, imagine the cleanliness of anything else for that matter.If one of us swallowed that, we could have gotten really sick. This place is the best if your looking for some takeout or dine in. It's very good and a very cozy place if your looking for... some Chinese/Japanese food. Their menu is very fancy and elegant yet also simple. For first timers or new people coming to thisRestaurant, things that I would recommend are: Appetizers: Crab rangoon, Fried or Steamed dumplings and Edamame Dinner: Lo mein(s), fried rices, combos (if you like egg rolls) Sweet and sours and Lunches during lunch time Sushi: New China special roll,Boston bay roll, California roll And finally if you like sushi and have a lot of people to feed I would recommend the partytrays :) Read more

I have ordered from New China many times over the years and raved about how good it was but now a guess there are new owners and... it is not the same. I ordered Honey Glazed Shrimp and it was 90% breading and 10% shrimp for $13. I took it back and theyapologized and remade it for me. Here is a photo of the remade shrimp. I removed the shrimp and the rest is breading. It isstill not worth the money. I hope they fix the problems Read more
