This review could very well have been 1 out of 5 stars if not for Sadie. Food was excellent, however the initial service was... not. I will not go into great detail but we were greeted and waited on by a VERY grumpy employee. I would like to recognize thatSadie noticed the poor service we were receiving and quickly sprung into action. She completely changed our night around byproviding friendly service and apologizing for her grumpy co worker. Thank you Sadie! Because of Sadie we will definitely beback. Read more
Food and atmosphere were perfect for a relaxing lunch. Our server, Tricia, was attentive and friendly. We had a good time... watching a local parade that happened to be passing by during our visit. The tater-tot nachos with buffalo chicken were sogood. The portions are very generous. The bone-in chicken wings we a good size and covered in sauce. The owner, Jesse, made astore run specifically to get the beer my husband wanted that they had run out of the night before. We highly recommendvisiting this place, if you are in the neighborhood. Went here for dinner this evening. The food was pretty good. The waitress was very friendly. I think she was was taking care of... half the people in the restaurant! When I walked in it started fine but it got terrible very fast. I got my drink in a normal amount of time but it took an hour... for me to get my refill and I had to shout to my waitress from across the room. After I got my refill my waitress came back andtold me my food was almost ready. My food was finally given to me after an hour and twenty minutes but the food wasn?t even goodor worth it and it was still hot which means that they were sitting on the order for a long time. Once I finished I then had toshout to the waitress again and it was almost empty and it was also almost an hour since it had closed. When I was ready to payat the counter the waitress walked off. The food was also way too expensive because the wings were $16, the pretzels were $10dollars, and my drink which was refilled once and the other person with me had an ipa which combined to $12 totaling at $38dollars. a friend and I decided to give this place a try based on the menu online, the night before a hike. The outside made us question... if we were in the right spot, but once we walked in we were happy with our decision. The waitress greeted us right away and letus know she was very short staffed but invited us to sit anywhere. We had some time to look at the menu and even when ourwaitress couldn?t get to us immediately, she checked in often. Our food arrived quicker than we expected and piping hot. Thefried pickles were our favorite, and a very generous serving. We also ordered pretzel bites, some blackberry hard cider that wasso good, a veggie burger and a flatbread pizza. We were too ambitious with our ordering and couldn?t finish even half of allthis but it was delicious. Just stopped in to grab some food, have a beer and read. The staff were very friendly, and the fried pickles were fantastic,... with may more food than I expected. Beer was great. although they were out of the porter I wanted, I was able to find a fewothers I enjoyed. Burger was cooked as ordered, and the peanut butter cheesecake was amazing! Read more
Sadly this was a big meh! We were in the area for a ski trip and wanted to get take out one night. We called on Friday night and... no one answered. The message they left up was old and talking about their hours during December. Because of this it was notobvious if they were too busy to answer or weren?t open. Many other restaurants in the area said they were open on google andYelp and were closed, not sure if due to covid or because it?s almost the end of ski season. We were not discouraged and triedagain on Saturday. We were happy they answered and took our order. We promptly arrived to pick up the food and the restaurantwas very busy. The employees were wearing masks but the tables and bar were full. There were large groups seated together andthere was no extra space between tables. If you didn?t know it was a pandemic it wasn?t obvious by coming in here. We were toldto wait a few minutes for our food, ok no big deal. We were there about 20 minutes and our basic order was still not ready. Bynow we were starting to get irritated. We saw some other to go orders walk from the kitchen to a counter, which was not visiblefrom the bar we were waiting by. We went to check and see if any of those were our food. We came to find out our food wasalready up and sitting there for awhile. It was a bit lukewarm by then and one of the containers was leaking grease and redsauce on the paper bag. I don?t know why the bartender didn?t tell us to wait by the counter in the back where the take outorders were being taken? This was frustrating and would have helped resolve this. Food was ok. Mozzarella sticks, meatballs andpoutine were fine once reheated. Wings were better than expected. The shrimp wrap was full of lettuce and hardly any shrimp. Great local restaurant and pub. We visited late October and there were not many options in the town so we opted for Pourman's. ... Great local and domestic beer options. Large portions. We tried the Lumberjack Burger which was excellent. Also wouldrecommend the spicy chicken sandwich. The fries were fresh cut and seasoned well.
