Brought lunch home for two. Sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, fried rice, wonton soup and egg rolls. This was probably... the best Chinese takeout we’ve had in wilmington for quite awhile. The SS chicken was nice chicken pieces and tasty, so manywontons in the soup we couldn’t eat them all. The rice was good, had peas onions and pork pieces…and I like yellow rice. Egg rolls were ok. Quantity and price was good. Egg roll and shrimp roll was pretty good. The shrimp fried rice had a decent number of tasteless... shrimp. The rice was a yellow rice, not fried rice. The won ton soup was sorely lacking in salt - not much flavor. The foodwas hot and made quickly. It’s decent,, not great. Read more
We used to love this place, but their quality and service has declined since the pandemic. Most recently I ordered takeout... online for pickup at later time. When I arrived at the designated time to pick up my order, it took an additional 17 minutes forthe order to be done. I also had to wait outside in a thunderstorm while they scrambled to get the order ready. I assumed theorder would be fresh and hot since it seemed they didn’t start preparing it until I arrived at the restaurant, but itwasn’t. I was truly disappointed, since this had been my favorite restaurant for Asian takeout. I hope it gets back on track. Read more
I recently ordered take out from from this restaurant. First they arrived 30 minutes past the time of stated arrival. I am a... vegetarian so I ordered from the vegetarian combo section of the menu. I ordered the mixed vegetables with garlic sauce and it'ssuppose to come with white rice or vegetable fried rice. I ate half the rice and realized there was tiny chunks of meat in it.Imagine my frustration. My mom ordered egg foo young which had no veggies or meat just egg and no flavor, the beef and broccoliwas chewy/fatty and she had to spit most of it out. So naturally I called this restaurant and spoke with a female employee, whoat first acted like she really wanted to help me. But then she started to claim that all their fried rice has pork in it andAmericans love pork in their fried rice. I simply told her I ordered from the vegetarian combo part of the menu which clearlystates that it comes with either white rice or vegetable fried rice. So I asked her what can be done about this? She said"Nothing" and hung up in my face. The only good thing about this place was the vegetable spring rolls and I pray it was meatfree. I'm going to report this place to the BBB. Read more
I like to come here because the food is good and it's a nice quiet ambiance to share with a significant other. It's the best... place to eat some Chinese food this side of town. Read more
This is the only Asian restaurant my husband and I will order delivery from. The food is always good and the portions are never... skimpy, even when I ask for entrees to be cooked without certain veggies. The time it takes to delivery can sometimes takelonger, but that's only when we've placed an order during the lunch or dinner rush, which makes sense. Read more
The only positive standing is the delivery time! I ordered 4 chicken wings, plain fried rice w/onion-egg-broccoli, and 2 spring... rolls! The chicken wings were so soggy and salty I immediately gagged! The rice was dry w/no salt and the broccoli was hard!The spring rolls taste like Tylenol and grease! I work at a clinic and was very busy.. couldn’t call. After I was off I wentto the place and could only get a portion for a refund. They delivered it but I delivered it back personally. The meal was $12and some change and I got back six dollars. Worst of all the lady at the counter that took my order a white female said Ishould’ve called. I was not going to call them and have them redeliver my food not knowing what could happen to it. I wouldhave rather been face to face To resolve this matter. I even tried to order something that would come out to be the same price.The same young white female did not know how to process that nor understand what I was saying. Never ever ever eat here. I am probably the easiest person to please with food. This has to be the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. First of all, the... chicken on a stick was clearly OLD and very dried out. It was unedible. I ordered shrimp fried rice with no veggies. I gotyellow rice with BOILED shrimp. I will say my Wantons were decent. The food was ready when I arrived and the lady was very nicebut this food is unacceptable. I would be ashamed to give a customer this if I were a restaurant owner. Will not be eating hereagain.
