Visited for the first time this evening and was very happy with our visit. I had grilled jumbo shrimp, coleslaw, and fries. I... cannot say enough about my meal. My husband had the seafood platter with two choices of fish, coleslaw, and fries. Hush puppiesare included with the meal while you wait for your order. 1st time visit and experience on Sunday around 3pm. Cute decor and layout. Decided to dine in. While placing orders, we were... told "we are out of that" and this was on at least half the menu...Even the drink machine, out of order signs on almosteverything. Also out of order, the restroom. ???? On what we were able to order, the food was ok. For the sides you receive 3hush puppies and a shot glass size Mac n cheese. The flounder sandwich was plain, I would have liked at least lettuce and atomato on it to help jazz it up. The platter was decent size and filling for my husband. If I had to highlight one thing off ourorder my daughters shrimp taco were good, that came with lettuce, chopped tomatoes and a good bang bang sauce. Overall, theplace felt not 100 percent done yet to open. New Paint looked like it wasn't finished and was stuck to seats and trim, napkinholders were sticky and empty on 4 tables near us, not wiped down and the ventilation not that great. Great Place! The best hush puppies and the scallops we're done just right to melt in your mouth. We got both fried and grilled... seafood. The fried shrimp were lightly breaded instead of being totally hidden. If you get the super platter, split it or beprepared for a food challenge. Read more
Very clean! Nice space with friendly staff. The hush puppies were really really good, probably the best I've had. Not to be too... dramatic but the fried okra was also exceptional to the point of possibly being the best I've had. Menu has a lot of options, Idid the select one seafood with two sides and hush puppies. Overall good food. Pretty good deal, for the amount and quality offood, I couldn't finish it. Nice place, my boyfriend got the mixed seafood plate with hush puppies and said it was very good, pretty large portion. I wanted... chicken tenders but they said they were out, ordered the cheeseburger combo and it was really good. The cheeseburger was prettybig and the seasoned fries were delicious. The fried Jumbo shrimp and hush puppies were spectacular. My sides were just ok. Definitely worth a visit, if you don't have... time for a sit down restaurant, as they have a pick up window. Prices were reasonable and food was hot and fresh. Read more
This place is a small seafood restaurant that offers great fried fish that is at a very reasonable price. I had the Alaskan... fish with popcorn shrimp, turnip greens and green beans. We stopped here for a late lunch. Both my wife and I had combo 2 seafood platters. Mine was fried catfish w/jumbo shrimp, Mac &... cheese, fried okra. My wife had clam strips & popcorn shrimp with Okra and fries. Everything was fried perfectly and not theleast bit greasy. You can opt for fried or grilled seafood. They gave us free hush puppies as a started with honey butter. Staff was over the top friendly and welcoming. They enjoy what they do and it shows. We will return with our family when theyvisit us.
