One of my favorite places in Wilmington. Catawba has always produced excellent craft beers, and they?ve put together a very... friendly and knowledgeable staff, especially back in the kitchen. Noah really knows what he?s doing, and they?ve introduced newitems to the menu, so I know I can show up with an appetite and be pleased with my choice, regardless of what I?m in the mood toeat. They also have great events, like Trivia nights on Wednesdays and live music on the weekends. The outdoor patio area isgreat for dogs. There?s so many positive qualities. I have never seen a drive thru brewery before, so that was an interesting feature! I liked the variety of beers on tap... (including a lot of small batch releases) the option to do a flight of 4 or 6, and the fact that they have in house foodservice. The beers were interesting, varied in type and flavor (quite unique), and fun to try. Food was good but pricy. This isdefinitely a place I'd return in the future, especially to try other small batch/limited release beers. Read more

Last time we brought our dog and sat on the patio. Greatstaff! The Kitchen is always coming up with new creations. Menu changes seasonally. Make sure you check out this can't missspot! Beers are fantastic. Something for everyone is available. We hit Smores Porter, White Zombie, Dirty Blonde, El GatoMariachi.
