No chocolate ice cream? How does a DQ not have chocolate ice cream? Then they send you 3 miles away to another store that... doesn't have a drive thru. We had Baskin Robbins instead. 6 different chocolate ice creams Read more

Something seems "different" about the ice cream. DQ is known for fluffy, light, white, creamy ice cream. Last two times it seems... like that ice milk.... not white (biege), heavy, just strange..... I'll be going to the one on Oleander. Read more

On the 14th we stopped at DQ on 16th. The Bride knows how I enjoy their banana milkshake with real banana chunks. Unfortunately,... I was so disappointed. Tasted like vanilla and had One bit of banana. My Brides chocolate malt didn't even resemble chocolatemilk. Just a rich color vanilla. Will visit again, but won't be soon. Praying my fav returns as it was originally made. Read more

This location tends to close when they want. Went this evening and waited about 15 minutes only to get to the window before... ?closing? to be told that receipts had been counted and they were done. More communication should be posted outside or havecorrect hours posted online. Won?t go back. Read more

The large ice cream cones get smaller with each visit here. Especially if you order it dipped. I'll go for years again and not... stop at DQ. I wish I had taken photos of the McDonald's size ice cream you get here for $4.00... Read more

Just went for the first time and was disappointed. The line moved fairly quickly, but my order (Royal New York cheesecake... blizzard) wasn't complete. They advertise chunks of cheesecake on top, but mine didn't have a single piece and it was melted. I'm surprised that it passed the "flip test". I do not recommend this place in it's current state. Had to have my once-in-awhile DQ fix. Since the Dawson location has re-opened, I stopped by drive thru for a large, Choc. Elvis... Shake (Chocolate, Banana, PB), a banana-split blizzard, a medium soft serve in a cup and a box of Dilly Bars to put in thefreezer at home. This location just opened back up recently, being closed since Hurricane Florence, and there has been somenoticeable remodels done, freshening up the building. But with every re-opening, grand opening or remodel, there will be somegrowing pains. In this case...the drive-thru ordering station. The comical part of the exterior ordering menu, is that it isliterally 12 feet away from the drive thru window. Seriously...12 feet away against the side wall of the building. Hell, itmay only be 10 feet...closest drive thru ordering station to pickup window ratio I think I've ever seen in my life. But theissue is that the DQ staff would have an easier time taking an order through that very window from that distance. The intercomand speaker were faint to the pleasant lady attempting to take my order and to me as well. I was yelling into the speaker soloud that I noticed the driver in the car ahead of me, at the window, lean their head out and look back at me. It wasembarrassing but I laughed it off. After the fiasco of trying to order through the station, I crept up to the window byreleasing my brake and casually rolling up to the window in less than 2 seconds. As the order began to come out, the staffmembers were kind and pleasant and even acknowledged they couldn't hear me either. Blizzard came out perfect. Box of DillyBars...check. My son's soft serve was delivered on a cone rather than a cup as ordered, but they took it right back withouthesitation and replaced it with one in a cup and spoon. My shake I was craving, was given, and off I went. I took my first sipat the second stoplight I came to & then noticed my shake was missing banana. :( It made me somber, but I still enjoyed Read more

My mother (who is elderly) really wanted a strawberry blizzard, she gets them all the time from the other location. A strawberry... blizzard is suppose to have strawberries in it? And pink colored? We received a cup of stirred vanilla ice cream with barely anystrawberries in it, they were almost invisible. So I asked politely, (maybe the didn't hear STRAWBERRY) "hey I asked forstrawberry , did you not hear me clear?" The lady responded "Well you should of asked for extra strawberries" then proceeded totake a blue plastic spoon from the counter and dug in the already made blizzard to get the strawberries from the bottom. Ok, sofor one COVID-19 is still increasing, even if it wasn't why take a spoon off the counter and stir someones ice cream with nogloves? For two, the blizzard had no strawberries, NONE! Worst customer service I've ever received from this location. Myparents live downtown and own many shops. Very bad for business! Read more
