We have quarterly meetings and select certain places to eat. This is the second time our team has a company dinner at F & H. The... first time was in March. We had an outstanding service and everyone was accommodating. Tonight was the second time, and again itwas outstanding! I want to give these five stars to our server Carley. She came in on her day off and handled our team withupstanding service. With over 30 members in our party, there were bound to be some hiccups, but she continued on. Throughout thenight, I saw such teamwork with Jonathan, the Manager helping. We understand that there are many restaurants in high demand forservers, cooks, and bartenders. I do not recommend this restaurant/ bar!!When getting there, the older male host told us we can seat ourselves and that it may... be a minute before we are served, did not have menu’s given to us at the time we sat down. We found a high top to sit at andsat down. Three waitresses passed us and looked at us, acknowledging we we did not have menus, however non of them spoke to usor offered menu’s. I then called out a waitress that passed us and mentioned to them we have been waiting for 30 min at thispoint just to be greeted. Then we ordered one drink with this waitress and it took about 30 min for us to get our mixed drinks,we literally paid for the drink and left. No staff for this night, it being a MMA fight night, there should have been threebartenders, front end manager and more experienced waitresses. This restaurant needs a sever overhaul. No reason for thisrestaurant to be ran this way. I won’t be going back nor do I Recommend it to anyone else. Read more
Came out for what we thought was gonna be a quick lunch but ended up waiting 2 hours for our food. One meal had to be sent back... because it was done incorrectly. Our server was super sweet and we know none of it was her fault at all . Just feels like wewasted most of our day waiting for mediocre food. Also not sure why they asked how we like our burgers cooked when they wereboth just burnt. Disappointed. Better kitchen staff is needed . Read more
Stopped for lunch after a movie. They weren’t busy but said they were short handed on servers so there would be a 15-20... minute wait. We were fine with the wait but wanted to know if we could sit at our table and chat while we waited for a serverto be available and we were told no, We had to wait for table. ( there were many many empty tables including the outdoorseating). I questioned her and explained we didn’t mind the wait but would like to sit since we were with my parents who areolder. Again. No. We had to wait outside. Obviously we left. Went somewhere else and we were seated right away. Waitedpatiently and had a nice lunch. If I could leave negative stars, I would! We had the most horrible experience @ Fox and Hound in Wilmington. The service... sucked, food and drinks took forever to come out, and when it did come to the table, orders were all messed up. The drinkstasted like juice and the wings were hard and rubbery. When we asked for our checks, it took over 45 minutes to get our checks.When we repeatedly asked for our checks and finally walked to the front to find someone to help us, our server was at the bardrinking and taking shots. And on top of all that, there were roaches crawling around by our table. Never have I received suchhorrible customer service at a restaurant! Read more
Stopped by for lunch and enjoyed some great food. The fried pickle appetizer was very tasty, I believe they were beer battered... like their chicken tenders. For main courses we got a chicken bacon ranch pizza and a chicken sandwich, both of which tastedgreat and were big portions. Server was very friendly as well. Great experience. Read more
What a bad experience! - First of all, the customer service just sucks, our server was extremely unprofessional and took forever... to assist us, even after signaling and letting her know we needed her. No use utensils, no napkins, no refills. Second: thefood was not that great. I built my own burger and the buns just disintegrated in my hands as I took my first bite, I couldn’tfinish it. The kids meals don’t even come with sides, my kids had Mac n cheese and it was not enough food, it does come witha drink though. Overall, I can honestly say that I will never come back to this place. If I could give 0 stars for this place I would. Me and two other girls wanted to kick off the start to our fall break off right... and decided to eat out at the Fox and Hound. Worst mistake we could have made. We walked in and we’re seated immidiatelybecause there was nobody there (now I know why) and it still took the servers over 40 minutes to bring out our food. Onceserved, we all quickly realized what a mistake we had made. I wasn’t even given silverware to eat my meal and when I asked forsome, THIS disgusting image below is what I found. All of us lost our appetite immediately and when I told the waitress thatsomething was quite literally GROWING on my fork she said “oh, my bad.” And to think that the fork wasn’t even the worstof it…. My friend ordered chicken tenders and I mean how can you mess up chicken tenders right? The fox and the hound surecan! Not only were her fries white, cold, and unseasoned but her coleslaw looked as if it was 3 weeks old and smelled rotten. Iordered the Buffalo cauliflower off the appetizer menu because the image on the menu displayed a large plate FULL of appealingcauliflower and what I received was nothing of the sort. I got 8 full pieces of cauliflower that were burnt and greasy as ever.Luckily we asked for the manager and she took $5 off my bill but please, do not eat here whatever you do! Read more
