Overall this is the best dining experience in Wilmington. Manna has the best wine list in town and any spirit you could desire.... Love fine dining and good food and this place is absolutely exquisite! Everything from the food to the ambience to the service... is beyond exceptional. We started with cocktails, two of their oyster specials (quail egg, fish roe, and hot sauce) andmarinated olives. Went on to divulge in their bass and roasted chicken they were featuring that evening. Finally, being blownaway by their traditional cheese and jam dessert (it was like an explosion or amazing flavors in your mouth)! Amazing. The building smells like history, I can?t explain it. The lighting , perfect. The art, beautiful. The design is... strategic, and art itself. The staff is warm and kind and comfortable. Every one of them. The crafty bar menu is well thoughtout and takes the meaning of mixology to a new level. The food was beautiful, colorful and so fresh. We had two appetizers, maincourse and dessert, and didn?t feel full at the end. Perfect. They waived our first round of drinks because it took a littlelonger to get to us, which we didn?t ask them to do or complain. We celebrated our anniversary on manna's 11th anniversary with an 11 course meal. It was all fabulous! Our server Natalie made... it extra special with her attentiveness and kindness. From the custom cocktail to the recommended wines, and each dish preparedand presented with such detail and unique combinations of flavors (sorbet and oyster anyone?) all the way to dessert-it was agreat experience. I came to Manna for dessert and wine as it was recommended for having the best in Wilmington. The dessert was seriously the most... amazing dessert that has ever touched my mouth. Pastry Chef, Rebeca, you are absolutely amazing. I did not have any wine andinstead opted for the highly-praised drinks from Bar Manager, Fred. This man is a master at what he does! I have traveled allover and Jesus I?ve never had drinks like this. The drinks all tasted even better than they looked (I love a good, pretty drink????). Fred, you are a genius mixologist.
