This McDonald's may have a new building but the smell inside is awful, like pee and the floors are always slimy/greasy feeling.... I will not go inside anymore as it's been this way every time for months and not just a one time problem. Read more

Stopped here Thanksgiving morning. They were busy. Excellent service and friendliness. This location is running like a... restaurant is supposed to run. Outside maintenance being done by Modesto thoroughly. 2 managers on duty and a neat andprofessional staff working together to serve customers. Fast friendly service where the employees are engaged and enjoying theirjobs! Your teen ought to work here to see and experience a quality work environment. Starting $12/hour for inexperienced people?I'm a 20 year fast food experienced person. I can recognize excellence. Well done staff and management. Being from Ohio andvisiting Wilmington several times/year, I know where I'm going for coffee and breakfast. Thank you for your efforts andprofessionalism. Ordering from a computer screen, and not a person at a register is ridiculous! There is no accountability when your order is... incorrect! Surf city's McDonald's has to have the worst staff , lady starting to explain that I didn't complete my ordercorrectly, explained it louder every time she explained it to us. Restaurant's don't really have customer service anymore, all you'll receive is an computer generated email that says" sorry that you had a bad experience, it will be noted so we canserve our future customers better.thank you!" So, we went through the drive through today, the person taking our order was snappy and rude, to say the least. Our order wasn't... even correct. I wonder why... maybe try focusing less on being rude and focus more on getting the order right? If you aregoing to be rude atleast take the orders correctly, be thorough, and maybe just slighlty nice: like we get it working in fastfood sucks, but dont make loyal customers suffer. We were totally nice and waited a few minutes after being told "we'll be withyou in a moment" twice To make it even worse when we got to the window, we were going to ask for a manager, but almost positivethe girl wearing the headset taking the orders, were indeed a manager. Normal customer service. Quick and friendly, however the food varies from visit to visit. The biscuits can sometimes be hard as... of sitting for a while or overcooked, to being perfectly soft and flakey. Coffee can sometimes be great or just sugary milk.Consistency issues. Read more

Today I ordered a iced mocha but I received a ice caramel with chocolate on top I gave it back I received another they gave me... the same thing. I called no answer WORTHLESS SERVICE I DONE. UNTIL SOMEONE KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. This caramel not a icedmocha with whip cream. Train the staff this not a hard task. Read more

WARNING FOUL EMPLOYEES..... Only posting one star because I can't write the review. But, I would post no star! Like other... reviews, I do not write food reviews, but this was so bad I have to write a warning. We picked up our kids from the airportafter 1:00 AM, so this was our only choice of food options. We ordered and went to the first window and waited with no service,pulled up to window 2 and waited with no service, and then went to window 1 with no service. Needlessly to say, I was confusedat the empty windows. However, The cars behind me did get service from window 2. We were now in window 1. I asked the car behindme to tell them we were in the first window. He got his food as we waited. The next car got their food as we waited. I finallygot out to ask where to go to get our food and a VERY foul lady remarked, "pull back or go around." We did as asked! When wearrived at window 2 we waited again for service. She finally came to the window and I simply remarked, "Thank you foraccommodating us." We received our order with attitude (that was not on the menu). She quickly gave us our food with hatred andthen she quickly left. We checked our order and I waited for the lady to come back because we did not receive napkins orketchup, which we did order. After some time another foul lady came to the window again with attitude. When I asked for what wasnot on the order napkins (she practically threw us a 4" stack) and then I asked for ketchup (we were abruptly given lots). Iasked what her name was in her hast and she shut the window with a scowl. I waited again for one of them to return for ananswer. The ladies were heard saying rude remarks. She would not come back to the window and she even asked the car behind themto pull back so they could give them their food in the regular cashier window.
