Dive in! So good....so good. Cobb salad was fresh, bacon tasty and crunchy...perfect avocado, ripe. The pizza? Take a look. Spot... on, balanced even with so many ingredients. Crust was perfect. Happy with the meal is an understatement! Chelsea was such agreat server... the right questions at the right time and the best attitude (smiling????). Read more
Came out to listen to the live music. We had the large pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, and fresh mozzarella. Really great... pizza! We only had 2 pieces to take home between the two of us! I also had a sunset in paradise drink to top off my meal! Soooootasty!! I love mellow mushroom and the live music was an extra bonus! I will definitely be back and I would highly recommendMellow Mushroom if you are in downtown Wilmington! Read more
We were very pleased with our server and the necessary wifi as the building blocks most cell phone signals. The food was very... tasty and the photos identify our selections. It worth mentioning that zero alcohol/ low alcohol beer is also available forthose driving. Worth a second visit. Please come to DC. A fifth star requires a second visit in my view to ensure consistency ofservice and quality of food. Read more
Excellent pizza, well known and favoured by locals, The Mellow Mushroom provided excellent service and the most delicious pizza... I've tasted in a long time. The establishment offers vegan, mozzarella, cheese for those on a restricted dairy diet. Located onWater Street, near the river, the restaurant provided a delightful evening of food and music. This is a good restaurant! The take-out process was quick and easy, the hostess was welcoming and kind, and our food was... exceptional! They provide paper straws, which I really appreciate, and the atmosphere is cool and comfortable. We willabsolutely be returning in the near future! ???????????? Our second experience wasn?t very good. We placed an order while onthe way to the restaurant, and the employees waited until we got inside to pay to tell us that they had no burgers, which was abig part of our order. Could they really not have simply called us back and let us know this before we drove out of our way fornothing? We placed the order 30 minutes prior and I sincerely feel like they just didn?t care enough to let us know. Completelydisappointed with the service. ???? Read more
Normally, Mellow Mushroom is the spot and I do not have many problems, unfortunately this time we ordered two pizzas, one of... them being the Cosmic Karma, I chose this pizza because it is vegetarian and all my mom can eat.. unfortunately it was one ofthe most unappetizing pizzas we have ever seen. Extremely greasy because of the pesto that was carelessly dumped on top nearlycovering the entire pizza causing it to be a soggy mush. I feel anybody with some sense that works in a kitchen should at leastknow that this is not the way you should put pesto onto a pizza if you care about your customers. Read more
This place needs to be everywhere because it was amazing! About 32 beers on tap, great pizza and sandwiches. The art decor was... fun. Very out of the box kind of vibe. Kid friendly and super nice staff. I ordered the "Havana hoagie" (full size), came withchips or tots. This sandwich was perfect and the bread was light and airy. The meats on the sandwich were to die for. We alsoordered a pizza with amazing crust. You can ask for the waitress to party cut for smaller slices for the kids. I washed it downwith a local NC ipa called "tropical". Located next to the river walk on the Cape Fear River. Read more
Haven?t had Mellow Mushroom in a few years. Tried a different style pizza that i get at other establishments (Buffalo Chicken).... I wouldn?t get it again. I only ate 2 pieces and mainly because I was super hungry. The waitress was nice. I was seated quickly(party of 1-in town for work). Maybe I was expecting what i get in other places. Read more
