Customer service was awesome! We were warmly greeted upon entering. Sodas were super fresh and fizzy. The pizza...meh...It... wasn't horrible, yet, it wasn't good. Somewhat mushy, lukewarm, and undercooked. Cheese wasn't fully melted. I wanted to like itbecause the place has a great atmosphere. Read more

My husband and I stopped in for lunch since we saw that they had vegan cheese on their menu...I regret our choice. This was the... worst pizza we've ever had- and we've had MANY vegan pizzas all over NC. We each started off with a side salad that was mostlywatery iceberg lettuce (not fully rinsed) in a tiny bowl. We weren't hopeful after that. The vegan cheese pizza with "pepperoni"came out with gooey liquid like cheese spilling out everywhere. Not only was the liquid cheese gooey and barely hanging on toour pizza but it tasted awful. The crust was super thin and rubbery. We ended up scraping off the goo and just eating the crustonly because we were starving and on our way home to Charlotte after our beach vacation. On top of the terrible food we alsoreceived poor service. Our server seemed nice enough at the start but never asked if we needed refills or if we needed anythingelse during our meal. I usually don't leave bad reviews but I want to be honest so that others who are searching for vegancheese pizza (or pizza in general) don't make the same mistake we did. Read more

Yes you can get a slice of pizza and at a reasonable price. On top of that the pizza was amazing - New York Style pizza. They... also have outside seating and a full bar (it's a Pub duh). I liked the location and the staff was nice. They were very efficienttoo. Read more

My wife, my in-laws and myself were walking around downtown Wilmington when we all decided it was time for something to eat. We... decided on Fork and Cork but the wait was too long so we decided to go across the street to Slice of Life. We walked in and satourselves and it wasn?t too long before our server ?AM? arrived to take our drink orders. My wife ordered half and half teas forherself, our grandson and me. Our waitress promptly asked ?What?s that?? Not ?which version??, not ?with tea or lemonade??, andcertainly ?tea?? This should have been our first hint that being a waitress was not ?AM?s? calling in life. Our drink ordersarrived without issue and our waitress took our orders. My wife ordered a medium White Pizza for herself and her mother and Iordered a medium pizza with sausage, bacon, mushrooms and red onion. Eventually I excused myself to go to the bathroom and inthe interim, our order arrived. When our order arrived, we received two medium white pizza?s with sausage, bacon, mushrooms andred onion. When my wife questioned our waitress about the order, she insisted that the bastardized white pizza?s in front of uswas indeed what I ordered. At this point, everyone just went with it and was halfway through the first pizza by the time Ireturned. So the good news here is that the pizza turned out to be pretty good. The crust had good flavor and the right amountof crunch and the toppings were fresh and delicious. While the pizza was the saving grace of this little story, the pricing wasanother stick in the eye for Slice of Life. Because of the price of the white pizza and the expense of the additional toppings, our dinner was about 20 dollars more expensive than it should have been due to our waitress?s bungle. No offer of a fix by thewaitress was offered and she was insistent that the delicious abomination pizza?s were indeed what we ordered. So, the bottomline for Slice of Life is that they are worth a try but make sure that your order is 100 percen Read more

Just moved here 3 weeks ago. Gave this place a shot as my first pizza in Wilmington and it did not disappoint. Very delicious!!!... I'm not a big crust guy but I ate the whole thing. I think it had a hint of garlic in it. Anyways this was my 1st pizza andprobably my last. Also they serve by the slice if you desire a bite after a nite of drinking. Yummy!!! Read more
