This place is amazing! My boyfriend and I stopped here on the way home from our mini birthday vacation. We came in shortly after... lunch time and the restaurant wasn't busy. The Chef and staff were super friendly and informative. We sat at the bar and ChefLee did a great job at personalizing our experience and making us feel welcomed. He had several great recommendations and thefood really spoke for itself! Not only was the meal gorgeous but also fresh and well-balanced. Chef Lee also offered a smallchocolate dessert as a birthday gift. We got the peanut butter and the Thai chili wontons that were a burst of perfectly meltychocolate. Lots of very creative ideas on this menu, not well-executed in most cases. I need to allow some grace because we were there on... a packed Saturday night. We were on the patio, which is very nice. But the kitchen was overwhelmed and slow. They seated toomany people and we waited nearly 45 minutes between appetizers and mains. Server was extremely helpful, but acted surprisedthat we felt it was taking too long. Several menu items weren't available. And what we ordered didn't wow us the way we hadhoped. First time I've ever liked a restaurant enough to leave a review. I haven't had sushi in close to 6 years and this place... reminded me how good sushi can be. My dad and I ate the whole platter + ice cream mochi. The Krabbie Pattie was so amazing!Definitely recommend. Read more

This sushi restaurant was highly recommended by a friend and did not disappoint! A good combination of signature/special rolls... and traditional rolls as well as sashimi. Wonderful selection of incredibly fresh fish from all over the world. Chef Lee is atalented sushi chef and we enjoyed his amazing creations, including the fried wonton filled with homemade chocolate dipped incaramel (wow!). At the Bento Box and as always, never disappointed. The staff is great, friendly and beautiful. The food is fantastic and on... point. Ordered the octopus salad and it was delicious. It has a little kick to it but all worth it. I also ordered some sushiand again. Just so darn good. I highly recommend everyone stop by and enjoy the food and the atmosphere. Read more

This place is just exceptional! Great food for a reasonable price. I tried a Japanese beer called Kirin which from first sip... became my favorite beer. Highly recommend this place. I will bring my family here every time. Read more

First time in Wilmington and just random picked a Japanese restaurant for lunch. It turned out pretty good, I'd say the bento... box was the best out of all. Calamari was nice too but It's too small :D and spicy tuna was my least favorite. Our server wasnice, they're pretty busy by the time we got in, but get all the food quick enough. Read more

Second time here and again we were so impressed by the food and service. The brussel sprouts small plate are outstanding. We got... the Painful and the Delicious rolls (same as last time we went) and both were great. Our girls got the Caterpillar and theDynamite. I was disappointed they didn?t share! Highly recommend!
