Went there for the first time today! They offer street parking and their restaurant has very eclectic art. My wife had the... meatball sub (omg), my daughter had the kids Mac and Cheese with fries and I had the soup flight! Honestly such a good place anddefinitely going back! Read more
Soon as you walk in your taken aback by the amazing design and decor. The plants make it feel so fresh and homey. I couldn?t... decide on what to get the menu has so many options. I ordered the Sweet and Savory sandwich with Street Corn Soup. I love soupand so glad there is now a place in Wilmington that has fresh homemade soups and gazpacho! The food was amazing and soflavorful. It does take a bit of time after you order to get your food so as long as your not in a rush this the perfect lunchspot! Read more
The Kitchen Sink (TKC) is AMAZING!! Since I am a major plant lover, I will start with that. The beautiful dining area is full... of live plants everywhere (even an herb garden wall). I ordered the Sweet and Savory (Turkey, Brie, apple, pepper jelly andmicro greens on a croissant). Hubby ordered the BAD Hot Chicken (pulled chicken marinated in hot sauce, topped with pickles on acheddar biscuit) which he devoured so fast! We also tried the pork belly burnt ends (to die for) and the crispy cheese roll up(described as grilled cheese rolled up and crispy) also so fabulous. Overall we were soo happy and FULL with our choices andcan?t wait to go back again soon to fall in love with everything else on the menu! The food is AWESOME! I'm picky about my Mac & Cheese and loved theirs! The Cheddar Ale soup is unbelievably good! Beef on Weck... is also very good, and the bread (the best part) is made in-house! My first time at The Kitchen Sink and it was delightful! I had the Beef on Weck sandwich with the creamy horseradish sauce and... warm au jus, delicious! I chose the cucumber and onion salad for my side and it was yummy. Why not have a beer for lunch so Ichose a light beer brewed right here in Wilmington. I would recommend The Kitchen Sink for a wonderful meal in a super cuteatmosphere! And free street parking too! Read more
