Went for brunch today, but not my first time here. Ordered my burger medium rare after discussing with waitress. I very explicit... about thE desired temperature I wanted my burger. Once I got my burger it was cooked medium to well done. Two others orderedmedium and they all looked the same, no pink whatsoever. Drinks were fine. Flights of sparking were generous for the money.Bloody Mary was flavorful. Service was good except the bar got very slow once the restaurant filled. Not the servers fault. Ifyou call yourself True Blue, you better deliver your meat temperatures correctly. I will be back and hope that you’ve gottenbetter. I gave one extra star because they recognized the problem and charged me half for the burger. Read more

Amazing! Better than expected. Unique flavors and presentation. I had the steak frites, bread and butter (actually two thick... slices of incredible bread with a savory bread pudding), and the peach creme brulee. Service was attentive but not overbearing.I look forward to visiting again! Read more

Such a good experience we came here twice in one week!! Customer service was phenomenal, we loved the ambiance, and our waitress... was extra caring. I took a star off because as good as the sides and burgers were, my husband had an overcooked and thenundercooked steak in both occasions. They also forgot one of our sides on the last visit. All in all we will be back when we areback in town. Highly recommend at least once. Maybe go when it is not as busy so service doesn’t take too long. Read more

My wife and I were down exploring the Wilmington area and True Blue was recommended to us by a local we had met. We saw most... reviews online were positive and gave this place a shot. Wow, I wish I could meet the guy now who originally suggested thisplace to shake his hand and thank him! We started out with some oysters and the Pork Belly appetizer. Both were awesome and Iwas happy to see something a little bit different like the Pork Belly and Kimchi dish that you wouldnt normally find at anotherrestaurant in the area. For the main course we split a 16oz Prime Ribeye with asparagus on the side. I appreciated that theytook it upon themselves to split the steak in half before it arrived on the table and played it separately for us. For thesteak, we debated on ordering Medium vs medium rare, and the waiter suggested Medium as they lean on the undercooking side vsovercooking. It came out perfectly. Now I've been to Ruth's Chris, some Brazilian steakhouses, eat steak at home frequently andI was honestly blown away at how good this Prime Ribeye was! If I could continue to eat forever I would have ordered anotherregardless the price. Finally, we ended off with the Peanut Butter Creme Brulee that had a strawberry filling at the bottom. Itwasn't my favorite, but my wife devoured it haha. If there were any negatives it was that we were sat outside directly in thesun. There was literally no wait for that table, so we took it and they did offer to seat us inside if we wanted towait. TL/DR: Staff was personable/friendly/knowledgable about the menu. Food was top notch, be ready to spend some money ifyou're hungry, but know it will be worth it! Read more

Superb! Excellence at every level. The service, the food. Delightful. The best steak in town!! I have heard this several... times and now I can finally say it myself. I added a side of Mac & Cheese and that was all she wrote! I had no room fordessert. Returned today to take my friend for her birthday lunch. Still superb. I had outstanding mac and cheese with baconand she had a great smash burger. Service is always top shelf. Read more

Had a great dinner at True Blue. The wedge salad was huge and easily shareable. They were lind enough to split it beforehand.... The real reason you go to TB is for the steak and it did not disappoint. We had the filet and the ribeye. I love a steakhousethat knows how to cook a steak and understand the difference in medium rare and rare. Just enough salt and pepper on the steakto let the actual flavor shine thru. We ordered the blue cheese fondue and it was a great addition. The asparagus and theseasonal veggies were great but don't miss the Mac and cheese. Possibly the best we've had. Read more

Great happy hour specials at the bar. Love the lobster roll get it almost every time. Nice date spot, has a good environment,... and relatively quick service but never make you feel rushed. It is expensive if you go outside of happy hour so we don’t dothat as often. It’s in a shopping center so the parking lot can be busy but worth going Read more
