We had a lovely dinner at Folly! Highly recommend. Their food, service and ambiance were all a 5 star experience. The... details: small restaurant where they are just doing everything really well. Not a lot of choice on the menu but it wasthoughtful, seasonal and everything was delicious. They also space courses out so you have time to really enjoy your meal andyour date. We were visiting our daughter at Marlboro Music Festival and had a spectacular dinner here. The food was artfully prepared,... service was outstanding and the atmosphere warm and inviting. The portions were quite generous. We ordered 2 items from thefirst and third courses and 1 from the middle course and were almost too full to eat the 3rd courses when they arrived. However,the duck and salmon entrees were simply too good so we made room. I have eaten at many top notch restaurants all over the worldand would say that Folly ranks right up there for most memorable meals. Without a doubt some of the best food I have ever had. The Thai Scallops I ordered for mid course were by far the best I?ve... ever had. Very friendly staff with an intimate setting. Gem of Vermont. A must visit if you?re going to Mt. Snow?a short 15 mins car ride away. The food was delectable and exquisite.... The pairings were perfect with the half bottle of champagne.
