This place was recommended by a complete stranger while we were hanging out at the bar at mount snow. We stopped by there on the... way home after long day of skiing. Super hole in a wall place with good food options and a nice drink menu. I guess the place isowned by a british as the menu is loaded with UK food options. Overall atmosphere was great, drinks were strong. The only part ididn?t exactly like was when i asked the old man ( most likely an owner) what are they know for, his response was ?food?. I meanduh? thats obvious ? idk if he tried to be funny or whatever but thats not how you respond to the customer? Read more

My husband, toddler and I stopped here on a Friday night while passing through town on a road trip from Arizona to Maine, and we... very much enjoyed it. Traveling and dining out with a toddler is difficult during covid times, and I was so beyond happy to finda restaurant with a strict mask and vaccination policy. Knowing a business is truly covid conscious really puts me more at easewhen taking my toddler out in public (I can?t isolate her forever, it?s not good for her development, which is one reason whypeople who can mask in public should). Covid aside, I loved this place. It is so overwhelmingly cozy inside, dim lighting, lowceilings, very warm and inviting. It felt like coming home. The folks who were working were also the owners, the wife is thechef, husband is the Brit bartender/host/server. Tom Waits was playing softly over the speakers when we walked in, and we weregreeted warmly by the husband of this lovely husband and wife team, and I knew we?d come to the right place for a late dinner. The food was quickly prepared by the chef, and it was delicious. It was as if it were lovingly prepared by mom who also happensto be a chef. I had the chicken taco bowl which was prepared gluten free, and my husband had the fish and chips. Both weredelicious and proportioned just right. Both the owners (I regret I didn?t get their names) also went out of their way to try tohelp us find accommodations, which was very kind of them. Just a great experience all around. If I were a tourist in thistourist town, this would definitely be a place I?d come to for dinner and drinks time and time again and should we pass throughon our way back to Arizona, we will definitely pay them a visit. Love the general store in the front for buying imported UK goodies(Cadbury and Double Decker candy bars galore!) Highly recommended! Read more
