In my opinion this isn't the basic Applebee's experience which is why i felt more inclined to leave a review. Yes the... establishment was basic Applebee's but the staff was exceptional. Professionally friendly & seemed genuinely concerned aboutservice. As a customer i appreciate feeling like my business matters and thats how they treated me & my family. The food was good. The service was bad. This was management's fault. One waitress to serve multiple tables plus takeout. This... was not her fault. Both host and bartender ignored our waves. New crew came in and started singing and dancing and chattingaround the bar. I'm an old school waitress who never let someone's drink go empty. I find this service personally insulting. Read more
Waitress was good and quickly seated us and took our orders for drinks , when return then took our dinner order. Kitchen staff... need to up there game 30 min wait after we put in order. Plenty of seating as no body was there when we walked in. Read more
New to America I wanted to try Applebees. My friends have told me the menu is revamped, however the items seem like any other... restaurant. In the sharing platter the cheese sticks were okay, the rest very basic. I tried the items others ordered andnothing seemed anything special. I ordered the Mac and Cheese with chicken tenders. The tenders were okay, the mac and cheese Ibelieve had 4 cheeses but you couldn?t taste much. I think it?s a basic restaurant to go when you have nowhere else to go. I have to give an honest review in our overall visit to this restaurant. We visited the establishment early in the afternoon,... so there were very few customers inside. Our waitress gave us fair service overall. Communication was not her strong suit. She did not come back to check on us during our meal. Another waitress brought me a refill on my drink. However, the meal wastheir strong suit. Our burgers were well cooked, and our fries were hot. The manager did come over to greet us, and asked ushow was our meal. This was impressive, and I appreciate the effort he made to check in us. I mentioned that the tea was notsweetened, and he said he would check into this. Overall, the meal itself was good, but I wish I could say the same about thewait staff. The waiting staff should be more attentive to the customers. Hope this helps someone. Read more
We were seated in a 6 person booth in a corner. It was only my husband and I. I looked and MONTHS OF FOOD was in the seats and... on the top of the seat divider. So we moved to the bar which was nice and do was the bartender. I ordered burbon street chickenand shrimp with mashed potatoes. They all were flavorless. And the margaritas were very inconsistent. The restaurant had a very calming atmosphere. Not many people, therefore not much talking, and the food was wonderful. Mom... didn't have to complain about the service at all, (which is a good thing.) Plus she ate of her food. Read more
