We stopped in the area on our way to Baltimore. We happened to come across this diner and decided to give it a go. The staff... is very friendly and polite. They went above and beyond to make sure that our food was wonderful. I had the cheesesteak. Thiswas a great cheesesteak, the meat, cheese, onions? I don?t eat mushrooms (allergy) or peppers. The bread it came on wasperfect! My husband had the hot dogs and chili cheese fries and was impressed with it all ( he even asked for more coleslaw)! I really hope that you stop by and get something to eat! They have cute cars for the kids menu food to be served in. The menuhas a good variety for kids and adults. Read more

I visited the location on Airport Blvd in Wilson, NC. I wasn?t greeted when I walked in. I sat for 10 mins before anyone... acknowledged my presence which was one of the cooks. He took my order and prepared my food. Still not one of the waitressesaddressed me. After, I got my food the cook that prepared it went to the back. I watched the other cook prepare food with nogloves on. He took off his hat and scratched his face then started back preparing food without washing his hands. The other cookcame from the back and asked the waitresses were they going to ring me up. It was three waitresses working so I don?t understandwhy the customer service was so poor. I visit this location often and I have never received such poor customer service. I havebeen there to dine in and it was only one waitress and the cook and the customer service was way better. I tried this restaurant for the first time last week. I am now on my 3rd visit (lol) the service is wonderful and this shrimp... po'boy is absolutely AMAZING!!!! Update 5/23 feels like complete turn around, cold food fries wasn't in the box completedisappointment ???? update 7/27 tried again... won't be back ANOTHER UPDATE! After conversing with someone on our local wilsonFB page I decided to give another try BIG MISTAKE! decided to build my own burger and add bacon ordered a cheeseburger meal formy daughter as well did this for delivery my daughter NO DRINK not to mention I called in to request that our burgers and mybacon be well done. Went for lunch and had a horrible experience. My first burger was missing bacon, that?s fine it can be added. But the pepper... Jack cheese was hard with no attempt to melt it. Sent it back and overheard the cook state something about the melted cheesemessing up the grill. So she sends it back out. The burger tastes like water and was undercooked.didn?t feel like having them doit over so I just paid for it and left unsatisfied. I only ate a few bites. Tonight was dance night for the oldest so afterwards we decided to head to Highway 55 on airport since there was a nice review... posted the other day on this location. Our service was extremely fast and efficient tonight and our food came out piping hotand delicious. One of the things that impressed us the most is how the staff was welcoming everyone that came in the door andholding the door for folks getting takeout. As soon as I walked through the door I and my family were immediately welcomed my service was exceptional, our drinks stayed... full and we felt like we were waited on hand and foot out of all of the hwy 55 diners I have been to this is by far the best andto the cooks who prepared my food very excellent job.
