We always eat here on the few times we come to Wilson. They have the best salsa I have ever had (we buy extra to take home) and... I have enjoyed everything I have ever ordered. Sept, 2022 We tried the birria fries. They were pretty good. It's definitely meant for at least 3 people. I got the quesadilla... de al pastor. There were some bits of pieces that were meant to go to someone's else dish. I got a piece of chicken and mushroomlol Their drinks look really appealing so I will try one next time. Our waitress was nice. I been here a few timesbefore, justnever wrote a review before. The first couple of times, the rice was always too salty and the beans weren't good (this was morethan a year ago). I wouldve probably given them a 3/5 at that time. I won a gift card to eat here so we went on 07/17/21 duringlunch. It looked a bit busy but we were seated immediately. I got the al pastor torta with fries. My fiance got the acp but withsteak, shrimp and chicken. The chips and salsa were banging. We got our food just when we were done munching on the chips. Mytorta was pretty good. Huge, I could only eat half. My only critique is that the torta bread was already starting to sog bc ofall the sauces. I tried the rice from my fiance's plate. It wasn't salty like how I remember it last time. Our server was ayoung male. His service was okay. Only checked on us once after we were done eating. He seemed shy so he mustve been new. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, super fast service. We arrived around 4:30pm today, Friday, and were given a table... almost immediately. I noticed that it quickly filled up shortly after that, but their staff handled it like pros. The food isdelicious, everything was served hot and fresh. We had 4 adults + 3 kids. The portions were huge; one "plate for two"could've really fed 4, kids each had their own meal. It's a great place to take cute photos and definitely try their variousmargaritas and tacos. Came in with a party of twelve to celebrate my neices birthday. The food and service was great. We expected to wait 50 minutes... but ended up waiting less than 30 minutes. The only complaint is how slippery the floors are. I was terrified my mother wouldfall and get hurt. Overall everything else was great. Read more

Salsa and chips were excellent, salsa is Pico de gallo style and fresh. Entrees were very good... better than the average sit... down Mexican restaurant. The style was as close to authentic Mexican as you can get in NC. The floor is slippery... nokidding... be careful. Read more

My sister and I came for a nice dinner after a long day. Wait time was 1 hour so we decided to sit at the bar. Service was... terrible from the staff. We asked for napkins and silverware and they told us to wait for the bartender to provide us for that.The bartender was not only serving the bar- but also other tables since she was the only working double time to provide thedrinks. She did amazing work with managing orders from the bar to helping and serving drinks from other tables. Team work goesa long way and I could see that she was getting little to no help. We then proceed to ask for the check and again- the hostesssaid we have to wait for the bartender. We felt bad with bothering her for napkins/ silverware and the check as we saw that shewas extremely overloaded. But she did provide exceptional service. Read more
