Passed Zio?s many times over the years but when the universe welcomed me back to this area, Zio?s came recommended by a... co-worker who bragged about their margarita pizza being ?the bomb?-which it was. I?ve tried their wings-decent, OrecchietteBaresi (as shown in the photo)-definitely recommend trying. I?ve also tried their sausage and broccoli rabe calzone, something Iwould definitely try again in the future as I plan on exploring their super interesting Italian authentic and homely dishes. The place was deserted on a Saturday night and despite the fact that we were the only table and they could have really tried to... make the food good it was awful. I never would have gone there if not for my parents who only like basic Italian food. There aregreat restaurants within a mile. I will never go again. Read more

Came back to try some takeout after the re-opening and none of the John's Best quality has slipped. Ordered the Uncle Frank's... pizza with hot peppers, onions, sausage, artichoke and meatballs, and Nonna's meatballs with ricotta. The perfectly cookedcrust held up without it getting soggy under all those toppings on the 30' drive home. Had a good mild flavor and tenderness toit, did not taste like "bread", nor was it greasy. Cheese texture pointed to it being fresh, not frozen. Onions and artichokesfirm and rough chopped; obviously none of the garnishes come out of a jar. Meatballs were not overseasoned so the taste of theingredients, not the spices, really came through. Thinking I'm going to have to buy the sauce in a jar soon. Yes, prices haveincreased - but portions are still generous and the quality is too. This is not Planet Pizza. This is not Dominoes. We allenjoy a large $14 stuffed crust "pizza" now and then, but this is home cooking. Call your Mom and tell her you miss hers. Read more

New name at this location but the food was just as good, I?ll say even better than the previous version. Pizza was delicious and... not oily, the salad was tasty and as always, the parking and access to the restaurant are simple. Read more
