A wonderful dining experience on our way to New Hampshire from Moosehead lake. Amazing vegetarian and vegan options. Cozy place... in a small town with the friendliest staff I have ever interacted with. They explained the menu in great detail and made sure wehad all the options presented to us. Our waitress was a little weird, and called me a girl when I'm not. The crumbs all over the floor was the first thing I... noticed. It's a small restaurant, but they have outdoor seating. This place is similar to the Farmington D, but it's cleaner andthe food is better, but still just meh. The chef came out and checked on how our food was. They use cardboard straws. No onewore masks, and there was no spacing with the tables. We got there around 8pm Friday night, and there was no waiting, we gotright in. Not a fan, won't be back. Read more
We came in from out of town and were recommended to eat here. The atmosphere is crisp,clean & homey. The staff was super... friendly and helpful with suggestions. We were almost done eating and the chef came out to talk to us too. Haven't seen thislevel of service in years. Then the food! So perfect in every way. Seasoned so well, divine doesn't even do it justice. We hadthe poutine, so much but you can't stop eating it, it's that good. The Caeser salad had the best dressing I've ever eaten withcroutons so light, like little pillows. My husband had the chicken fried steak. The green beans were the flat Italian kind thathave so much more flavor. The potatoes where perfection as was the breading used and the gravy. Very nice place. The food is excellent and everything is made in-house. The portions are plentiful so you can easily take some... home. The staff was helpful and friendly. The chef-owner often came out to visit with the customers to make sure every thingwas to their satisfaction. The bread pudding was good but could have used some raisins ( my preference). The only detractorwas that none of the staff was wearing a mask so keep that in mind. Read more
This is my new favorite restaurant. Everything about this place is great. The food is superb. The wait staff is always so... nice,helpful and super accommodating. Even though I went during lunch I really wanted the bruschetta(is a dinner menu item) theAmazing chef wiped us up a plate anyway!!! This is the 2ed time I have gone and both times they have done this for me(cause I amdefinitely a fan of it). The Bacon Bacon burger is to die for also.. I really like the fact you can get a whole pot of teaserved to you as well. The decor is cute a hell too. I love this place. Read more
