We had my daughters bridal shower at Circa 21 on May 21. Everything was excellent. Wendy goes out of her way to make sure... everything is perfect! And it was! We can?t say enough about Chef Brian and the Circa?21 team who catered a bridal shower for us. Brian was attentive to our ideas... and concerns and presented an amazing brunch for our celebration. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The teamwere polite and attentive to every need. The McGregor restaurant is much better than past years. The owners work there and keep everything great.
We recently booked CIRCA '21 for our farewell brunch following our wedding in Saratoga Springs. While I struggled to find a... place that would serve breakfast food, host approximately 75 people, and also be affordable, CIRCA '21 exceeded our expectationson all fronts. In researching for a spot, the staff were super quick to respond to my inquiry and were able to provideinformation about holding a brunch. Chip and Wendy were super helpful in making arrangements to book for our event, and werehelpful when visiting the space to tour before booking. The property itself is both cozy and gorgeous, and allows guests to viewthe scenary from all sides in the dining areas. They provided so much (like plating, flatware, linens, etc.), that we didn'tneed to bring much for decor- regardless, we dropped off a sign before hand that could be placed to point guests in the rightdirection, and brought some flowers to place throughout the dining space (though they had plenty of beautiful petite flowerarrangements that it was almost unnecessary for us to bring our own!) We were provided different options for breakfast foods,and could add items or dishes if desired. The hot breakfast option that we picked was perfect, and hit all the stops with whatwe wanted to provide to our guests. The dining room was wonderfully set up, and having the buffet in the sun room areas made foreasy serving without being too crowded. The staff were very attentive to guests needs, refilled food platters and cleared plateswhen guests were finished. We opted for a cash bar for guests that were interested, and the bartender did a wonderful job makingdelicious mimosas and bloody mary's quickly. Overall, we highly recommend CIRCA '21 for your next event, especially if you arein search for a nice venue to hold a brunch. Everyone is so friendly and attentive that we would easily reach out to CIRCA '21again if we ever need a space to host another event. :) Read more
Do not judge Circa 21 by the opening experience, they seemed swamped with the massive turnout. We went a second time and WOW,... Service was excellent and plenty of help, owners introduced themselves and chatted, as they had the first time. Food wasexcellent, perfectly timed and attractive, as well as tasty and fresh. This is a great restaurant to escape the downtown crazyand parking issues. Options for relaxing on the outdoor covered patio or sit in the lively bar with good music. (We were fouradults and an 8 month old at a bar table and no problem, kid friendly) or dine in the quieter romantic interior. What anenjoyable experience!! We will most certainly return again and again if this service, friendliness and food quality stay steady!Love to support the local people, its a win win!! Read more
