Went for dinner with my family. My wife and I were in from California and the family came up from NJ to spend time and this was... the perfect Italian dining for all of us. Classy but not stuffy. Dress code is lax. Despite there being an oversight on the waitfor food the management more than made up for it. I gauge Italian restaurants with their chicken parmesan and theirs more thanmet my expectations. I wish I would have known that there was a bocce ball court in the outside area ... Would have loved tohave thrown some stones. Looks like I have another excuse to come back next year. Excellent food, excellent atmosphere andfriendly staff and servers. All in an upscale feel that will not kill your wallet. For 6 of us to eat we spent just over 200dollars and all ate like kings ???? Read more
My boyfriend and I had a mixed dining experience here. When walking into the restaurant, it had a very strange scent that was... off-putting. We were seated and right away we saw that my boyfriends water glass was dirty. Then, the complimentary "pizza"bread was cold as ice and not appetizing at all - I took one bite and could not finish it. The environment itself could bebetter - even if it's still light outside they should keep the blinds down instead of having them partially up along withambient/mood lighting. It was not very cozy - especially since we were seated right next to the window. We ordered the brusselsprouts side dish to share as an app, and they were just ok - not very crisp or flavorful. Luckily, the entrees were redeeming!I enjoyed my chicken marsala and my boyfriend enjoyed his chicken parm. But, the best part of the entire night was dessert: theflourless chocolate cake. I had reservations at Nove 7/14/22 at 7:15. We arrived on time and the Hostess said it would be a couple of minutes they were... setting our table. While we waited more patrons arrived and were seated immediately. After 20 minutes she realized we werestill waiting. She ran and set up our table. There were 4 people in our party, she brought 3 menus. When you’re seating 4people, bring 4 menus. Our waiter Tyrone was awesome. He was very attentive to our table. When he mentioned that veal chopswere on the special menu, we said what special menu? He went to get us a special menu, after he walked away, the Hostess withthe leastest ran by our table and dropped the special menu on our table. Tyrone and the food were amazing. I only gave 4 starsbecause the Hostess was horrible. I understand it was opening day, but there is no excuse for making us wait for a table, whenwe sat 4 to 5 parties that came in after us. Read more
Got there before dinner rush but had a reservation just to be sure as it was my first visit. Greeted and seated very quickly and... was told who would be coming to take care of us. Caught them on opening race day but the staff handled it like champions! Our appetizers were excellent. Do not pass on the... meatball sliders or bruschetta. The Pappardelle Bolognese is definitely a star on the menu. The Chicken and Shrimp Parmigianawere very good, maybe not great. Dessert was also hit. Certainly give them a try! Read more
After watching Dave Portnoys pizza review of Nove, my friends and I had to go here and try the pizza. Dave rated Noves... neopolitan pizza an 8.6. I would give it a 7.8. If it was a little less greasy and a little less cheesy it would have been aneasy 8.5. Service is great, atmosphere is great, prices are good. Seems like a good place to take the girlfriend or wife. I wish I could leave 0 stars. I loved this place , it has gone down hill fast. HORRIBLE. The chicken was that fake chicken . A... tiny portion with about 1.2 cup of pasta. Smaller then a child’s portion for 24.95 will never go there again. Stay away Read more
