What a great place to enjoy a meal inside, on the patio or even down by the river at a picnic table or rock formation table!... Beautiful large cypress trees and a hollowed out tree large enough to stand in- several ppl even! It's beautiful and peaceful. Agreat breeze and we didn't even break a sweat in the 90 plus degree weather. You can even take a dip in the river! Read more
Had lunch here and it was delicious. The catfish was tender, crispy, and well seasoned and the Cajun cole slaw was refreshing... with a little kick to it. I loved the outdoor seating right next to the creek, and took some ice cream to go to eat down by thewater. The service was excellent and friendly as well. It was such a nice atmosphere and the food was good. The steak always simple, nothing too fancy, but usually when you go to a... place with a nice scenery, you are paying for the environment. So it?s nice to know that the food won?t disappoint. The outsideseating was covered so the sun didn?t beat down on you. They have fly protectors for your food because there will beinsects. Unfortunately, we happened to visit during graduation weekend. This meant that the quoted wait time was an hour. While this was... torture enough, and we had finally made it to the 50 minute mark?we witnessed someone receive notification to be seated who hadonly been waiting 9 minutes. Seriously?!? We literally heard them say their name, checked the waitlist website, and watchedthem disappear from the bottom of the list. The hostess and our waitress were delightfully friendly, but offered no apologiesfor this inconsistency. When our food finally arrived, 45 minutes after ordering, it looked delicious. It was good. This is the place if your wife wants to shop. Perfect place to sit by the water and have a few beers and apps. Amazing location... and the food is just as good. GET THE POTATO SKINS. They are amazing and they sell out. The salad was excellent with theirhomemade ranch and the chips and queso make a Texan proud. Read more

We ate here tonight and it was a nice evening. Love the patio, highly recommend eating outside. The chips/queso/salsa = don't... recommend. ???? Tastes like Tostitos, Pace and Velveeta. Our drinks were well made, reasonably priced and quite stout which wasappreciated. Our server was very kind/helpful. My wings were pretty good, the ranch wasn't as good as I was expecting based onother reviews. My husband really liked his Philly steak sandwich and his fries were nice and crispy.
